  I did contact Camco who confirmed both their Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose for Cold Weather 25 foot # CAM22902 and 50 foot # CAM22903 heated water hoses can be connected together. It does require an extension cord with 14 gauge wire to do so. Regarding the life expectancy, they are warrantied for 3 years on the electrical components and 1 year for the hose.

  The HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201 is not designed to attach directly to a garden hose but rather a hose with blunt cut end. If you prefer a threaded connection then you would want to use the Valterra RV Pump Kit part # P23512PB but as far as any adapter goes we do not offer this though I am sure one could be obtained locally at a home improvement store.   Butt. It's ok, you can say it. Pain in the butt. I agree, a hard to coil hose can be frustrating. The colder it gets the harder it is to coil a hose. That is even the case for really flexible hoses such as Camco RV Drinking Water Hose # CAM22783 even though it would be better than most. Usually a heated hose is easier to handle in cold weather because the heat makes it more pliable.   A pressure rating of 300psi is incredibly high but we do have a hose with that rating. Take a look at Camco premium drinking water hose # CAM22833. the hose material is 20 percent thicker which helps it reach the higher rating.

• Using Camco # CAM22783 RV Fresh Water Hose for Outdoor Shower
  Since the hose is compatible with drinking water, it'll work just fine for the outdoor shower. I've confirmed this with my Camco representative. You might also be interested in a quick disconnect, part # CAM20143. The quick disconnect would make detaching the hose quick and easy.
