Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra 45 degree brass hose saver. Now, this hose saver will prevent your hose from kinking or pinching. Basically, when you install this, it brings your connection out to a 45 degree angle, so when you hook your hose up to that, it keeps that hose from bending and causing all kind of problems. It is made of a nice brass construction. It will work at your home or on your RV. Now, the orange portion you can see right here that spins, so when you put your hose on there and make your connection.
The reason they make this orange is because this orange gripper indicates on the Valterra products that it is lead free, so this part is lead free. If you also notice on the end right here, it has the metal screen built in. This is to help filter out any foreign material.
