Video Transcript for Review of Ivation RV Water Filter - Tankless RO Water Purifier - VT73ZR

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Ivation H20 tankless reverse osmosis water purifiers. Now, folks, we do carry these in a 600 gallons per day, an 800 gallons per day, and a 1,000 gallons per day rating. So, make sure you're on the right product page. You can type in those different item numbers on your screen. Make sure you're picking out the right one that fits your specific needs.

So, if you've been in an RV or camping world as long as I have, you know one thing's for sure, water quality is very important. It can literally make or break your trip. And today, I wanna talk about these different units. Like I said, we carry them in 800, 600, and 1,000. And this is probably one of the smartest upgrades you can make, in my opinion.

Whether you're a full-time RVer, weekender, or just upgrading even your home, these work with all that. The first thing to notice with this whole set is it's tankless, so that's gonna save you some space. It's a reverse osmosis system, again, so there's no bulky storage under your sink other than this unit, here, and then this fountain, if you will, dispenser up on top of your sink. And that's why I wanted to show you this box, to show you what's going on out here and how it gets installed. It's gonna give you a compact option.

Now, again, rated between 600 to 1,000 gallons. That's serious output. You're not gonna be standing around waiting to fill up water bottles, and it's gonna deliver a fast flow. And also, it's gonna give you some outputs on the screen up here, and I'm gonna throw up an image. That particular image is obviously the 1,000 gallon, but they all pretty much look the same except for the rating that they have.

So, you can see on that water faucet that little 26. It's giving you some more outputs. And then, also, on the screen, the top left-hand corner of the main unit, there, it's got some output numbers and stuff as well. Obviously, I'm not gonna be able to power this up today for us to look at those things digitally turned on because you do need to have water going through it to get those output readings and whatnot. And per the instructions, you really shouldn't power this on until you have it hooked up to water as well just for safety and those kind of things. So, I'm not gonna plug it in today to be able to show you that. But this is gonna remove things like dissolved solids, heavy metals, chlorine, and a lot of contaminants that we run into at campgrounds, or what I call questionable hookups. You've all been there before. We pull into sites and thought, "Hmm, dunno if I wanna drink that or not." And you just don't know what the water quality is. This will solve that problem and give you a little bit more peace of mind. And again, because it's tankless, water's not sitting around. Traditional reverse osmosis tanks hold water for long periods of time, especially if you're not using them. And a lot of people just don't do the maintenance, quite frankly, and purge those systems if it's gonna be sitting for months and months. So, this eliminates that as well. Now, again, obviously, you can see this up here, it does get simply screwed in place, just like your traditional water faucets and whatnot in your house. And if you don't already have a hole there, I believe it's a 1" hole you're gonna have to drill into your countertop or wherever you're putting this to be able to mount this in place. Another thing you're probably gonna need is maybe a 1/4" drill bit, per the instructions, again, depending on where you're running water lines and those kind of things. I do wanna zoom in here and show you some stuff up here on the front. Of course, you got your power cord. Again, it's just your standard 110 outlet. It has a couple of cutouts here on brackets, if you will. You can mount this to the side of the wall underneath your sink. You have a power cable that goes to the back of the main unit, here. And then, obviously, the water line. You have a water line tap in here. All these are using push-to-connect fittings for your waterlines. They give you the hose cutting tool here to cut the hose. And this is a drain attachment, so yes, it does need to be able to drain and stuff. So, this is basically gonna go around your standard drain tubing underneath your sink. And this is basically gonna tap in and allow you to drain water that way and give you a nice, watertight connection. They give you some foam pads with double-sided adhesive, and obviously, they give you the Teflon tape, there, and of course, mounting hardware. And then, inside this bag, I left it closed 'cause they're really small, but basically, these are plastic clips and some fittings. And on the back side of this where this stuff plugs in, it does have some push-to-connect fittings. Let me see if I can carefully spin this around and show you that. You got your main power outlet, there. You got the main power cord that connects, again, to the unit up top that's pushing the water out. And then, your water lines are gonna go here, one for water coming in, one for drainage and those kind of things. And this really is lightweight and compact as well. As you can see, I'm easily moving it around. And then, again, this will light up when you have power to it. It'll tell you when you need to reset and change the filters and those kind of things. And you just simply pop off this plastic cover. (plastic tapping) Heavy duty. And then, obviously, unlock, unlock, simply unlock 'em. You can pull the filters out. These, obviously, are replaceable. You can purchase these separately if you need additional ones and whatnot. And they do have labels on them, like PPC. The bottom one is for the reverse osmosis. And then you simply put 'em back in place, spin 'em to lock 'em, pretty much just like all filter systems. Maybe on your fridge, you have something probably like this style, twist and lock. Probably a lot smaller, obviously, but the same concept. Again, folks, nice, small, compact. Again, it's gonna get bad taste out of your water. It's gonna get those, again, we talked about sediments, that chlorine flavor, if you have those kind of issues. It is a pretty straightforward installation. If you're not wanting to do the install yourself, no problem, you can reach out to us or use our website, etrailer.com. We have a dealer locator tool. You basically type in your zip code and you can find someone that we're affiliated with in your area that can do the install for you. If you wanna tackle it yourself, it comes with instructions. It's not too bad, just take your time. I highly recommend with anything you do yourself, make sure you read those instructions fully through before you start. That way, you know, know what's going on, number one. And if you need something, you get halfway through the instructions, you're like, "Oh, dang, I can't do this," it's gonna be easier to let someone start from the beginning to finish themselves versus having to come fix something you started, maybe you just couldn't finish yourself. So, I recommend reading that thoroughly before you start that, or again, use our dealer locator. Again, folks, this is gonna run more efficient than the older systems that are out there. You're gonna have less wastewater compared to traditional reverse osmosis systems, so that's a great option as well, 'cause you're gonna be conserving water if you're boondocking, and also when managing that gray water tank's capacity. So, again, lots of things to think about. To me, this is a great option for you. Once again, wrapping it up, we do carry this in three different options, 600 gallons per day, 800 gallons per day, or 1,000 gallons per day. Again, type in the right item number into the product screen when you're searching to get the system you're looking for. That's gonna wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven, this has been the Ivation H20 tankless reverse osmosis water purifier. Have a great one.
