This miniature version of the Clearsource Ultra gives you an easy-to-carry and highly effective filtration system. The only difference we see is a slower flow rate at 4.5 gallons a minute. That's still about double what a shower head uses.

We've been very impressed with Clearsource's water filter systems. They are well built, effective, and premium solutions for getting the highest quality drinking water no matter where your journey takes you. The Ultra system is a great 3-stage model that you can take on your RV trip, out to a family picnic, or even use at home. The portability is great, but it is a bit on the larger size.
The new Premier Mini makes this system even more portable while not compromising on water quality. The only thing it seems to sacrifice is flow rate. Since the filters are smaller, there's less surface area for water to flow through. The Mini has a flow rate of 4.5 gallons a minute compared to the standard size's 6.5 gallons per minute.
Consider that a RV shower head uses about 2.5 gallons per minute. That means you're still going to get more than enough flow, just as long as you don't have two or three appliances using water all at once. You should consider your own water demands and decide if this will be enough or if you need to go with the larger sized Ultra to get the best performance.
The first stage of the Premier uses a 5.0-micron coconut shell carbon block filter to capture sediment, insecticides, pesticides, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, and other solvents to improve the taste and smell of your water. The second stage features an industry-leading 0.2-micron filter to trap even the most harmful bacteria.
A micron is a unit of measurement equal to 0.0001 cm and is often used to define the size of water contaminants. The micron rating of a filter is the size of the largest pores in it that allow water to pass through while trapping contaminants. A common misconception of water filters is that the higher the micron rating, the better the filter. It's actually the opposite. While a 5.0-micron filter can sift out rust and sediment, a filter with a 0.5-micron rating can filter out insecticides, pesticides, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds. Lower micron filters can also trap heavy metals and the more harmful microscopic water contaminants, such as E. Coli, the Giardia cyst, Legionella, and viruses including Hepatitis A, giving you cleaner, safer, and better tasting water.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Clearsource three-canister Ultra Mini RV water filter system. Now, this is an outdoor three-stage water filter system that's gonna purify water from RV hookups and other exterior faucets. This will give you nice clean water for drinking, showering, cooking, washing dishes, and many other uses. This is the miniature version of the Clearsource Ultra. So this is gonna give you an easy to carry and highly effective filtration system.
Now, the only difference from the larger Ultra model to this Ultra Mini is the size. It's gonna be about 5-1/4 inches shorter. Flow rate on this is 4-1/2 gallons a minute at 40 PSI. And if you noticed, I've unscrewed the canisters with the filters in it 'cause we're gonna go over each one just to show you. This one here is gonna be the first stage.
Your water's gonna come in this way, go through the filters and then come out this way. So in the first stage, you're gonna have this 5.0 micron rust filter, has the large grooves on it to capture fine sediment. And then after it goes through that, it'll go through the second stage, which is this one right here. Now the second stage, that's gonna be a 0.5 micron coconut shell carbon block filter. This is gonna filter out chemicals and sediment to improve the taste and the smell.
And then the last one is gonna be the third stage, which is this one right here. This one's gonna use the VirusGuard filter. This is gonna trap viruses, bacteria, lead, and other heavy metals. Now, the canister that these filters are in, they are FDA-grade oversized canisters, provide a nice high water flow for stable long lasting water pressure. Also, what's nice if you look in the front here, it does include this canister wrench and this will make it easy to remove or install the filters.
Just to show you, if we're gonna put this one back on, you just line it up. Once you get it lined up to where you need it, just go ahead and start tightening it down. There you go. Once it's lined up, you can just screw it on by hand. And then once you get it tightened, tightened up, snug it up, you can use your canister wrench to put it on there and then just tighten it for final. And then to remove it, all you have to do is put your wrench on and you can pop it this way to remove it. So very easy, makes it easy to install or remove them and you just don't want to over-tighten them. Just snug them up. Now this frame on it, it is a powder coated free standing frame. It'll keep the canisters stable on the ground or the table. It is powder coated. And what's nice with this unit, it's a convenient plug and play set up. Very easy to take down at any campsite. You just set this up between your water source and your RV's freshwater connection. Now, it will require hoses. We do sell those separately. You'll attach your hose here. This is the incoming water. So you'll screw on your hose to this female connector and then it'll come out this way, so you'll have a hose that'll screw onto this male connector. They are rustproof stainless steel hose fittings that make them sanitary and more durable than plastic. This unit is IAPMO certified. It is made in the USA. Few overall dimensions on this. The width, right at 15 inches wide. The overall height, bottom to the very top is 10 inches tall. And the overall depth of this unit is right at six inches deep. Now, the operating pressure on this, the total range is from 25 PSI to 100 PSI, but the ideal range you'll want is 40 PSI to 65 PSI. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Clearsource three-canister Ultra Mini RV water filter system.

Delivers as promised. Well made and definitely worth the expense.
No matter what state you travel to this system works wonders with water.
I love shopping at etrailer. You can see live updates on what is going on with your order and they process and ship your order extremely fast. As far the filters themselves I have not had a chance to use them but they offered a lot more filtering options than some cheaper substitutes.
Best price on the web I was able to find since the recent price increases for these water filter systems. Always fast shipping and delivery from eTrailer.
We finally got the water filter!!! I have to say it's big and heavy but that's not a bad thing. I placed it on a 24"x30" piece of plywood and screwed it down to keep it from tipping over. The quality is amazing I really like the stainless steel fittings. We're so glad we bought it !!
I have spent a lot of money on water filters in the last 15 years and none of them took all of the bad smells or taste out of my water at the RV parks. I found the Clearsource Ultra RV water filters with 3 canisters and it’s like drinking bottled water. It’s amazing and I highly recommend this system !!
Got to camp sight and hooked it up and got good flow with no leaks. We will know in 6 months how well it did. So far so good.
I think is a great water filtration system. I have not replaced the filters yet but the water is very clear coming out.
Easy to set up. Excellent water quality.
