Features to know about

Lightweight, Familiar, and Built for RV Life

seated DOM64FR

The Dometic 300 gives you residential-style comfort in a toilet that won't overload your rig. The standard-height seat makes it easier to sit down and stand up, and the all-polypropylene build keeps weight low while still handling regular use. It's a solid choice if you want a basic, dependable toilet that does its job without the bulk.

Triple-Jet Rinse Uses Less Water

This model uses three directional rinse jets to clean around the bowl using just 1 pint of water per flush. It's efficient and gets the job done, even if it's not quite as thorough as premium 360-degree swirl systems.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

To make sure this toilet fits your RV, measure from the wall to the center of the floor flange. This is the rough-in measurement and you'll need at least 8-1/2" for a proper fit. If your current toilet is still installed, you can measure from the wall to the mounting bolts for a good estimate of the flange location. Just keep in mind that an offset flange or a 4-bolt toilet can throw off this measurement, so if you're not sure, removing the old toilet is the best way to double-check before you order.

  • Standard Height RV Toilet that has 8.5 inch Rough In Dimension
There's only one RV toilet that has the 8.5 inch rough in dimension you are needing with the Dometic 300 Weekender part # DOM64FR. This is a standard height at 20 inches like you want as well.

  • Trying to Figure Out Black Tank Smell in RV
Hey Greg, if you have the Dometic 300 toilet that is your problem as it's pretty common. The issue is a seal inside the toilet that goes bad between the upper and lower section of it. It would look like part # DOM64FR which is the current design which has been updated and fixed.

  • Does Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet Come with Base Gasket
The Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet part # DOM64FR that you referenced does come with a base seal so you would not need to provide that separately. No additional components are needed to install this.

  • Best Replacement for a Dometic 300 Toilet
Hey Renee, thanks for the picture. There are no ceramic Dometic 300 toilets, just polypropylene like item # DOM64FR. If you have the extra 1-1/2" of space, the best option to replace a Dometic 300 toilet is with the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet item # DOM57FR. The 300 only requires a rough in of 8-1/2" while the Dometic 310 Toilet item # DOM57FR needs a 10" rough in measurement. You will need to measure the distance from the wall behind your toilet to the center of the toilet flange....

  • Alternative Toilet to the Dometic 300
Thanks for your question, Chris! After looking at a Dometic 300 (part # DOM64FR) the closest that we have in to a 9" that is ceramic would be part # TH49FR - Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II Part-Timer RV Toilet - Standard Height - Round Bowl - White Ceramic. I did notice that your current toilet need an 8-1/2" spacing from the center of the center of the floor flange to the wall however, the one from Thetford needs 9-1/2" minimum so there might not be enough clearance. If you can check...

  • Replacing SeaLand 510 RV Toilet With Dometic 2 Bolt Flange Toilet Using 4 Bolt To 2 Bolt Adapter
Good eye Donna! Some people just install the 2 bolt Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR onto a 4 bolt setup, but only secure it by the 2 bolts, which is not technically correct as this could cause issues and not fit correctly. The correct way to do it is with the Dometic RV Toilet 4 Bolt Flange to 2 Bolt Toilet Adatper # DOM73FR. I've attached a photo of the instructions to help you out. What happened to the old toilet? Just ready to be updated?

  • Replacement RV Toilet Recommendation for a 2017 Jayco North Point 375BHFS
The Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet, available in Tan # DOM27FR or White # DOM87FR, is a great selection for replacing/adding/upgrading a toilet in your Jayco! To determine if this will fit in your bathroom you need to have at least 11" from the center of the flange in the floor to the wall that's at the back of the toilet (also known as the "rough-in" measurement). If you have less than 11" let me know and I can help you find a different replacement, otherwise if you do have the 11"...

The Dometic 320, # DOM87FR is overall length of 22" with a minimum distance from wall to center of 11". If you are up against the wall already this will doubtfully fit properly. Hey Greg, I checked with Dometic, and the flush ball is not replaceable for the Dometic 300 toilet # DOM64FR that you have unfortunately. • Dometic 300 Series Toilet With Bad Odor - What Other Brand Of Toilet Can I use Instead?
Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. The bad smell is definitely a common complaint we hear about the Dometic RV toilets. We do have one other option that will work with the 9-1/4" center flange to wall measurement, the Thetford Aqua-Magic VI RV Toilet # TH97SE. This is a standard height toilet that requires only 7-5/8" from the center of the flange to the wall.

If an RV toilet is emitting a bad smell that just means the gaskets are failing. You can replace the gasket between the floor and toilet with part # Q23653VP and the flush gasket that holds water in the bowl and prevents odors with part # DOM63FR. Most toilets require 11" of clearance from the center of the drain back to the wall, except for the 300 series which only requires 8.5". The Dometic 311 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM67FR requires a 10" rough-in, whereas the Dometic 300 # DOM64FR only requires an 8-1/2" rough-in. The rough-in measurement is from the wall behind the toilet to the center of the drain. Since your toilet is still in place you can measure from the wall to the flange bolts to ensure that there's enough space for the 311 to fit in place of the 300. The # DOM57FR requires a 10" rough-in in order to fit. If you don't have enough room for the 10" rough-in then we also offer the # DOM64FR which only requires an 8-1/2" rough-in.
