A year later it has been holding up great!

by:

Not the best picture, but the only one I've got. This gives power to all my 120-volt circuits in my mobile home. I've needed it 6 times since installing. Everything is easier when you have power to the refrigerator.

by:

Easy online ordering with detailed info on product that ensured it was just what I was looking for. Prompt processing & delivery. Perfect fit. Thanks, etrailer!

  • How to Determine the Correct Power Cord for a MyPod
If your MyPod is 30 amp then you would be looking at the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord # A10-3025EDBK. The 30 amp plug would have the "backward checkmark" with the check at the top pointing inwards when the plug is orientated with the checkmark on the left side. If you have a 20 amp then the "backward checkmark" would be at the bottom point inwards. If you are still needing help, you can submit photos of your power hook ups and we may be able to identify what is needed.

  • Replacement Shore Power Cord for Coachmen Chaparral Fifth Wheel
If you're referring to the shore power cord which is the cable that goes from the trailer to the power pedestal at the park to provide power inside the trailer for using lights and running appliances then you have a few options. I recommend the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord part # A10-3025EDBK for 30 amp or part # A10-5036EDBK for 50 amp services. The twist lock connection attaches to the power inlet on the trailer and the male plug then plugs into the power pedestal at the RV park.

  • Shore Power RV Connection is Melting
To be perfectly honest, unless you're pretty knowledgeable when it comes to RV wiring, you'd be well served by having somebody look at your travel trailer. The discoloration you mention tells me that this has probably been an ongoing problem, and you'd be best off getting it checked out before something bad happens. The power pedestals at RV parks are supposed to be circuit protected, but how well things at RV parks are maintained can vary greatly, as you've likely seen. The Mighty Cord...

  • What Adaptor and Power Cord do I Need for My 4-Prong Female Electrical Setup on My RV?
Thanks so much for sending me a photo. Unfortunately, the best route forward is to uninstall the female outlet installed on your trailer and install it with a male outlet like the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet - Twist Lock - 30 Amp # A10-30INVP. After the male outlet is installed, you can now use a power cord like the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord - 30 Amps - 25' Long # A10-3025EDBK. It is important to note that this power cord will only work with a 30-amp shore power connection....

  • Updating Power Plug on 1972 Truck Bed Camper
It sounds like you may have a connector on your truck bed camper that's similar to a hookup for a dryer. If that's the case we definitely don't have any adapters for it and you'll likely have a hard time finding one so rewiring it to a modern-style connector would be more beneficial and for that I recommend checking out the Pollak RV 7-Blade Plug End Socket w/Mounting Bracket # PK12-704. This gives you a modern 7-Way socket and plug so both your truck and camper connections will match. Attached...

  • Power Cord Options for 30 Amp Twist Lock Connector on Travel Trailer
Yes, the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord - 30 Amps - 25' Long # A10-3025EDBK will work great for your application. It doesn't have the fancy fault lights that your current wiring does so you might consider using something like the Camco RV Power Defender Circuit Analyzer # CAM55310 as well which helps check for faults. You can use an extension like the Mighty Cord # A10-3025EH but I wouldn't go above this additional 25' of cord. If you anticipate needing more than that 25' of that initial connector...

  • Can You Install an RV Air Conditioner On a Van
The issues you'll run into installing an RV air conditioner in a van are BTU rating and roof thickness. The RV air conditioners are designed to cool much larger spaces so installing one in a much smaller space would often freeze you out. The roof thickness in a van is also much less than the roof thickness in an RV so you will need to find a way to add additional backing to make the unit compatible. The smallest units we offer are 13,500 BTU's like the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part...
