Today were going to review part #: CAM55194. This is the Camco Powergrip RV temporary power cord extension with its own carrying strap. This is 125 volt extension cord which will add 15 feet of length to your RVs 50 amp power cord. The female end right here will connect to your RVs 50 amp power plug. The male end on the other end will plug into a 50 amp receptacle at your RV park. The built in Powergrip handle as you can see here on the back of each connector makes it easy to unplug the cord.
In other words, when you get into some of these bigger plugs, when you plug them in theyre a secure connection. Sometimes without a handle its hard to pull the plug out. With this handle, itll give you a lot more strength and grip to pull it out of the outlet. The carrying strap right here has a buckle on it that you can detach and take the strap off. When you coil it back up to put it in, to store it into your RV, you can just use this carrying cord with the nice rubber handle here that doesnt hurt your hand.
Thisll buckle around the cord when its coiled, so you could store it or carry it. If youll notice, both connectors are bright yellow in color and thats because they want you to see it in any low light conditions. In other words, if you pull into an RV park at night it might be hard to see when youre trying to connect your power up. With these yellow connectors it makes it easy to see where to plug into. This extension has been a game saver on a couple occasions. There have been a couple of parks where the extension has come in handy. Well made lives up to its expectations. A must have.
Works as advertised. Already used several times because the electrical panel was to far.
As always, etrailer provides the product they advertise and they get it to you in a flash! The products I ordered this time met my every expectation...the replacement roof vent screen/vent frame fit like a glove...thanks etrailer! By the way, I just placed another order with this superior company...that speaks volumes of how I feel about etrailer.

I ordered the Camco 50 Amp extension cord along with a slide awning. The awning is to be shipped in several weeks and the extension was to be delivered at the same time. I asked Angela at E Trailer if the cord could be shipped sooner on a different order. She arranged for the cord to be shipped on a separate order and it was shipped that same day. I received it and can now use it on an upcoming trip. Fantastic Service.
Nice heavy cord for my fifth wheel trailer to get to the pedestal .

Still like new after one year of service..
Very easy to install. Dealing with the spare tire took longer. The only problem was the 1/2 hex bit. Not something I had

Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
Works just as it should. Now I can use my 30 amp extension cord with my 5th wheel when I am at a campsite or storage that does not have 50 amp connections. The adapter arrived just a promised and the customer service was outstanding. I will order from etrailer again.
