I like this adaptor but I’d like it better if the 110 connection was straight down instead of being at. 90 degree angle to the cable.

Well that would just make too much sense, Mike! In all honesty, I don't know why they do that (though I think the worry is it would fall out or something). Having the other end pointing down does make more sense and I will mention that to Mighty Cord. Maybe they will change it. What are you using this for?

I have an “average” rating due to the shipping time. I ordered this product on 22 May, and received it today. 10 days (including the Memorial Day holiday) is unacceptable. Do better.

Installed it the day I got it in the mail (20Jun26) and it fits great and the retention ring threaded right on without having to fight cross threading like others I have tried. Like others have mentioned I wish the 15 amp side was not at a 90° and would hang straight down for better protection from rain.

2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty

I store my 5th Wheel trailer inside a large garage with electrical service. This adapter works perfectly to hook up my 30 amp power while in storage. It is light weight but made of tough plastic and strong rubberized connectors. When I need to charge my batteries or spend time in the trailer relaxing, this adapter works perfectly and has performed with out a problem.

I ordered this adapter so I could connect my 5th wheel to a 30 amp outlet using a heavy duty electrical cord. I also order the adapter for the 30 amp outlet. It worked great when I connected to the trailer to charge the batteries and run the refrigerator. It doesn't have enough power to run the A/C but that's okay.

etrailer representative called me at home to tell me they had a back order on one item. It would be about two weeks before they got the part and another week for delivery.

I am very pleased with the service and would use them again.

2018 Airstream Flying Cloud Travel Trailer

Great product. I really liked the fact that when you plug it into the trailer it actually hangs straight down towards the ground. Takes a lot of weight off the trailer plug in socket and I use it to keep my trailer batteries charged.

Pleased with the product. Despite working as promised with perfect fitment, I almost gave it a 4-star. I'm concerned about the polymer being red on an outdoor product. Typically red plastics fade terribly in the sun, so I'll be watching. I so wish they had just used UV resistant black polymers and avoided the flashy stuff. Also, package looks really dated and cheap.
Again, product seems to have great initial quality, and it was the only product on the market (I could find) that had a 90deg 50-amp end, converting to a 110/120V 15-amp male end.
I use this for my large car hauler to power a dehumidifier over the winter. Strongly recommend this item.

2012 Chevrolet Volt

Very well crafted product and it appears to be a very heavy duty cord adapter. Item was a good price for good value and it was shipped most expeditiously. It will allow me to leave the large heavy 40 pound extension cord at home since I won't be using my A/C. I can use a good light 120 volt rated 12 gage extension with this adapter.

2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty

When attached to the trailer the adapter was at the 2 o'clock position. It was not straight down (6 o'clock) as one would have assumed it would be. Electronically I am sure it would have worked fine. Just a bad design flaw.

Fits perfectly on my Jayco. Packaging was great too. I like the green indicator light that lets you know its charging. Now we don't have to lug out the 50 Amp anaconda wire at home!

Availability of Adapter for Old Bargman 35 amp Electrical Inlet for Camper
What you have there is an obsolete Bargman 35 amp power inlet. There ARE adapters out there, but they are VERY rare and therefore expensive. I'd recommend removing it and installing a modern 30 amp inlet like part # A10-30INVP along with a 30 amp twist lock extension cord, part # A10-3025ED90.

Recommended 4 Prong to 3 Prong Power Adapter for RV
Since you have a 3 prong plug on your trailer, I assume you have a 30 amp system. For adapting to a 4 prong plug you would then use the Mighty Cord Generator Adapter for RV Power Cord - 30 Amp Female to 30 Amp Twist Lock Male - 12" # A10-G30430VP. If you instead want to connect to a 50 amp 4 prong plug then you will use adapter # A10-5030FBK. We don't have any female to female adapters to if you need a longer cord you will simply use an extension.

Connecting 50 Amp RV to 15 Amp Outlet At Storage Facility for Keeping Batteries Charged
For your particular setup, starting at the RV's 50 amp plug, I recommend the Camco RV 50 Amp Voltage Protector # CAM55306 followed by a power adapter cord like the Mighty Cord # A10-1550D90VP that will plug into the surge protector and give you a 15 amp male plug on the other end. Then from there you will just need an extension cord like the 25 foot # A10-2514E that will reach to the shore power hookup at the storage facility. This extension uses 14 gauge wire so that would be my recommendation...

It sounds like you are looking for an adapter cord with a 4-prong 50-amp female twist-lock connector on one end with a 3-prong 30-amp male on the other. Such an item is Camco Power Grip # CAM55582. 50 Amp Twistlock Female to 15 Amp Male Adapter Recommendation
Instead of using two adapter the part # A10-1550DAVP would be a better option as it goes from a 50 amp twist lock female to 15 amp male like you need. Of if you wanted a longer setup the part # A10-1550D90VP is 12 inches long and has a 90 degree elbow. For a straight connector we have the part # A10-1550DVP.

I've drawn up a little diagram below showing where each wire goes on the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1550D90VP. Since this is a 50 amp to 15 amp adapter there's only one power wire running over the 50 amp end. Which one has that wire out of the two I wouldn't be able to tell you without taking the connector apart to see.

Running RV AC Units Off Shore Power
AC units require a minimum of 30amp and if you're running two units you'll need 50amp. You're going to need to run atleast a 30 amp outlet from your house. 30amp is going to require #10 wire and 50amp is going to require #8 wire. I ran a 30amp outlet to the outside of wall of my garage and use an extension cord to it from my camper like Item # A10-3050EHLED. You'll need an 50amp to 30amp adapter coming off your camper to the outlet as well Item # A10-3050D90VP.

No, the only differences between the Mighty Cord # A10-1550DAVP and # A10-1550D90VP are the lengths and angle of the connector. The # A10-1550DAVP is solely just the connectors with no cable and the # A10-1550D90VP just comes with a cable and 90 degree bend to help prevent the cable from getting bent while plugged into the RV. Most people prefer the # A10-1550D90VP because of the 90 degree bend so that's what I would recommend for your situation.

The closet option we have to what you are looking for is the Mighty Cord # A10-1550DAVP. This isn't a 90-degree plug but it is just the 50 amp female twist lock outlet by itself with a 15 amp male plug on the other side.
