Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the etrailer two inch wide E-Track Anchor Strap with the D-ring, has the 1,333 pound working load limit. Now, you'll attach this anchor strap to an E-track to create a nice tie-down point for securing a cargo strap, a rope, a net, or a tarp. This E-track fitting has a D-ring on this end, and this will clip into your E-track anchor, creates a nice tie-down point. And I wanna demonstrate that, I happen to pull a piece of E-track that you'll normally see in your trailer. And then to show you how this attaches, we're gonna zoom in, so you can have a close up view of it.
Well, basically, you can see the E-track fitting right here, has your little lever, so when you go to hook it into the E-track openings, you just lift up on that lever, slide it into the opening, drop it in place, release the lever, and it's locked right into place just like that. It gives you a sturdy steel attachment point, we have a rust resistant zinc finish on the connector, and the webbing on this is a durable two inch wide polyester webbing, sort of like a seatbelt material, it is abrasion resistant. On this end you can see is your D-ring where you'll attach your straps to. Application, this will work on horizontal and vertical E-track and X-track. The dimensions, two inches wide, the strap itself is about six inches in length, the D-ring, when it's extended out, it's gonna give you about an extra two inches, so overall length of this is about eight inches.
Now, this does have a maximum load or brake strength of 4,000 pounds, but what you wanna be worried about is the working load limit of it, which is a third of that, which is 1,333 pounds. And they do have a label on it that'll show you what the working load limit is of the strap. One note I do wanna mention is the tie down straps and their accessories like this must be chosen according to that safe working load limit. Basically, the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of these straps that are being used. So for example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each, to tie down a load that weighs 1,000 pounds, then you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load, and it is always recommended to use these straps in pairs.
Now, this part number is just for a quantity of one, we do sell it as a pair that you can also purchase, that's part number e94PR, and it's listed on this product page as a related product. But again, just to show you, if you lift up on it to remove it, lift up on the lever, slides right out. To install it, just lift up, lift in, just like that, you're ready to go. But that's gonna do it for the review on this etrailer two inch wide E-track Anchor Strap with the D-ring.
