You know that feeling when your gooseneck trailer bounces and your truck feels it. That vertical shock hits hard. This 4-1/2" square tube coupler uses an air bag at the hitch to absorb the impact and give you the smoother ride you want.
The core of this Shocker Hitch coupler is the air bag. It changes the way your trailer moves. It takes the edge off when you hit the throttle, stop suddenly, or run into rough patches in the road. Instead of that shock and bounce transferring straight to the truck, it gets absorbed right at the hitch. Your trailer stays steady, and your truck doesn't feel like it's getting beat up every time the road gets rough.
The Shift Lock coupler uses a dual-jaw design to grab both sides of the 2-5/16" ball, creating a firm, centered connection that holds steady under tension. Many latches only grab your ball from one side, which can leave room for slop. This one clamps evenly and helps cut the jolt when you take off or stop. The locking handle sits up top, so you can see when it's latched. And if you're leaving your trailer hooked up somewhere, the InfiniteRule lock (IR66FR - sold separately) keeps the latch from being opened so no one can pull up and take it.
Every load's different. One day it's stack of treated lumber for a deck rebuild, the next it's a compact tractor with a brush cutter. That's why there's a valve built in for the air bag. Just add air for heavier hauls and let some out when the trailer's running light. It keeps the truck and trailer in sync so the ride stays smooth, no matter what you're hauling.
Towing capacity is limited by the lowest rated component in your setup.
If you have a recessed gooseneck ball, there must be at least a 12" x 12" opening in your bed for this coupler to work. In addition, the top of the hitch ball cannot be more than 2" from the top of the bed.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Shocker Hitch. It's an air cushion gooseneck coupler for your standard 2-5/16" ball, and it's a square tube design, rated at 30,000 pounds gross towing and 7,000 pounds tongue weight. Folks, this is gonna give you a safer, smoother towing ride. It's gonna improve your ride, reduce wear and tear on the pickup and the trailer using its airbag technology, Air Ride technology. It has the built-in air system for a smoother towing experience.
You simply add air enough to work for your specific weight and trailer contents, and this will just give you a nice cushion-smooth ride once you've done that. Now up here at the front, they have their patented connector right here for the coupler to couple around the ball. And basically, you just undo this spring-loaded pin, and then that'll lock around the ball on the inside, and then as you can see you have the visible indicators showing that it's closed. And then on the one side, you have a pin here to go through the hole to also keep that from going back and forth, and also, again, that spring pin here as well. So it has a double-pin system to ensure it's not gonna come accidentally unattached.
You got three holes for adjustability here on the height. You've got greaser up here for your maintenance so you can grease everything up. This will give you shock-dampening and shock-absorbent action. So, effectively it's going to absorb the jerking, tugging, bumps, any kind of damaging forces that are experienced when you're going on rough roads, maybe highways, concretes, and just anything of those typical daily bumps. So again, between the airbag and the patented dual latching shift lock coupler around the ball, this is gonna give you a clean, easy connection, easy install.
Again, folks, you simply put it inside the outer tube that's on your gooseneck already. This is gonna fit a four-inch square tube or a hundred-millimeter square stem. And again, you have those three adjustment holes as well. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at the Shocker Hitch air cushion gooseneck coupler. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Great products and customer service!
Great product, you can really notice the difference when traveling down the rough roads.
Just received the Shocker hitch and have not installed it yet. The hitch was received in good shape, however the cardboard box it was in was beat up pretty bad due to the weight of this hitch. Supplier needs stronger/better packaging for thes heavy parts.
Works great, but after a couple of hours the air leaks out, I only put 35psi in it , I might go with something mechanical
We put this on a flat bed trailer 40ft it bucked realy bad when empty on dirt roads. This has helped with the pressure a lot well worth the money.
