Video Transcript for Jensen RV Antennas - AM/FM Antenna - AN140 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Jensen six foot long two piece AM/FM dipoling antenna. Now superior performance is what you'll notice with this Jensen two-piece AM/FM antenna. It gives you better AM/FM reception with the dipole design antenna over a single-wire antenna. The small design of the antenna and the flexible structure allows for nice easy installation in any tight, hard-to-reach places, including places where you don't want the antenna to be seen. You can see it has a coaxial connection here, so the connect coaxial cable portion will screw right into this. Install your antenna where you need be, and then just make the connection right there. Total length on this, if we cut that and totally extended it out would be six feet long. But that should do it for the review on the Jensen six-foot-long two-piece AM/FM dipole antenna..

  • Availability of 5/6 Foot Antenna for RV AM/FM Stereo
We have a 6 foot long RV AM/FM antenna with the Jensen In-Wall Antenna # AN140. It's not a whip antenna that sticks up as it instead is a flexible antenna that does not need to stick up. We do not have any 5 to 6 foot whip antennas.

  • Jensen jwm45 Doesn't Pick Up AM and FM Signals.
It is likely that your antenna has disconnected from the back side of the unit. There are a couple of options available lie the Jensen Amplified Antenna 7' Cable part # AN150SR or the Jensen In-Wall Antenna 6' Long part # AN140 should you not have one already there for some reason.

  • Can Jensen RV Stereo be Powered by Light or Refrigerator Circuit
While it may be possible to power the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A with the under-cabinet circuit that or the refrigerator, the issue becomes if the wires that power the cabinet light can handle the additional 10 amps that the Jensen will draw. It is more likely the refrigerator will have wires that can handle this amperage, but it is not something that I could say for certain. The best option is to wire the stereo directly to your DC breaker box which I imagine is where your cabinet lights...
