Upgrade your RV's AC with this low-profile unit from Advent Air. New R32 refrigerant meets 2025 EPA regulations. Not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier.

Notes:
Because your RV is likely already prepped and pre-wired for an AC unit, installation is simple. Most AC units are designed to fit an opening that measures 14-1/4" x 14-1/4". Depending on your roof setup, you may need to do minimal alterations. If the opening is larger than 14-3/8" x 14-3/8", you will need to install spacers between the sides of the unit and the opening's edges. If the opening is smaller than 14-1/8" x 14-1/8", you will need to enlarge the hole to fit the unit snugly inside the opening.
On the bottom of the AC, there's a thick, collapsible gasket with 6 noise-reducing foam pads. This provides support between the RV roof and AC and seals the opening to prevent water and outside air from leaking in. Because of this, the use of fresh sealant isn't needed. Once installed, the hard plastic cover on the AC can easily be removed for maintenance and cleaning.
In order to fully complete installation, this AC needs to be paired with a 2025 or newer Advent Air or Dometic air distribution box and thermostat.
Additional accessories can be purchased separately to improve the performance of your Advent Air AC unit. The start capacitor (ACMSCKIT) improves the performance of your AC by using stored energy to jumpstart it. And the electric heat strip (ADV34QR) removes the chill on cold or frosty mornings in your RV, ensuring you stay comfortable. Please note that the heat strip will only work on Advent Air AC units.
2-Year limited warranty covers defective units when installed correctly on approved applications. The warranty does not cover units installed incorrectly. To ensure air conditioner is installed correctly, please see the questionnaire pdf below. A filled-out questionnaire is required for warranty coverage.
If you are not comfortable using a voltmeter (or removing the charge from the start capacitor), you'll want to make a service appointment with your local RV dealer to verify the installation. Print the pdfs below (warranty- questionnaire, warranty dealer information) and take them along with the RV to your local dealer. ASA does compensate dealers for warranty work as outlined in the dealer information pdf. You may be charged by the dealer for time spent investigating the installation.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Advent Air 15,000 Btu White Low-Profile RV Air Conditioner. Now this AC is going to give you 15,000 Btus of cooling power, that's gonna be suitable for your large fifth wheel class-A, and your class-A motor homes covering 300-plus square feet. Now, this sleek low-profile design not only enhances the look of your RV, but this is also going to ensure efficient cooling without the bulk. So this is gonna be perfect for you if you love stream-lined stylish exteriors while maintaining that ultimate comfort inside.
Now, taking a look at some measurements here, taking a look at the width first, we're sitting right about 24 7/8 inches wide, about 10 1/8 inches tall. And then the overall length from end to end, about 31 3/16 inches long. So again, about 31 3/16 inches long. Now this is going to fit roofs from 2 1/2 inches to 5 inches thick with an opening size of 14 1/4 inches long by 14 1/4 inches wide. And in order to fully complete the installation, this AC does need to be paired with a 2025 or newer Advent Air air distribution box and thermostat.
This unit is not backwards-compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulations. So whether your setup is ducted or ductless, this flexible system is going to seamlessly integrate with both, offering you a hassle-free upgrade. And one of the unsung heroes of a comfortable RV trip is a quiet environment. And Advent Air's condensation dispersion system plays a crucial role in that by managing moisture efficiently. This system minimizes water runoff, so that's gonna reduce potential noise outside your vehicle.
And this means more peaceful parking at campgrounds and serene travels down the highway, letting you focus on the joy of your journey. This durable white, hard plastic cover, I think is gonna do a great job of shielding the internal components from water and debris, and that's gonna make sure that your unit remains in top condition no matter where your adventures may take you. If for whatever reason you do need to remove this cover, we have these Phillips head screws along the perimeter, so you'll be able to easily loosen them and remove them and then pop that cover off, clean it out, do any maintenance you need to, and then replace the cover and the screws and you can head on down the road. And on the bottom here, that might be kinda hard for you to see, but we do have thick collapsible gaskets, a gasket rather, with six noise-reducing foam pads. It's going to ensure that this fits snugly onto your roof, giving you that support and sealing the opening to prevent leaks.
So although minor adjustments might need to be made depending on your RV setup, these design elements make the process a whole lot smoother. So again, it's going to ensure that your AC is ready to deliver comfort on all of your travels. So you're gonna be able to extend the comfortable use of this Advent Air unit with an electric heat strip that is sold separately, but you can find it here on our website using item number ACMHD, again, that's ACMHD, and that's gonna be perfect for those mild nights or crisp mornings. It's gonna also add versatility, especially if you enjoy RV-ing year round. It's gonna ensure a cozy interior with the temperature drops. Plus you can add the smart capacitor, or start capacitor rather, for improved performance, and that's gonna make your RV adventures even more enjoyable. And you can find that capacitor using model number ACMSCKIT. Again, that's ACMSCKIT. So obviously we do have this in white, but you can also pick this same unit up in black if that goes better with your RV. So I do have the model number for that black one there. Everything's gonna be the same. And again, this is going to be 15,000 Btus, but we also carry this in 13.5, 13,500 Btu, and you can find that here on our website. Now this is gonna be a bolt-on installation, but again, this is just the AC unit only. So typically the bolts that come, the bolts that you need to install this, will come with the air distribution box, whether it's for your ducted or ductless systems. But with this, you'll just get the AC unit, but we do also have kits available as well. So all that to say, if you have any other additional questions that I didn't cover for you, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Ultimately, we want to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
