Secure, Clamp-On Installation
To complete installation, place the fully assembled rack on your flush rails and tighten the rack in place with the torque tool included with the feet. The inner and outer clips in each foot tighten with a single mounting bolt to ensure an even, secure grip on your rails. An audible click from the torque tool indicates the rack is secured properly.
Protection for Your Rails
The rubber-coated steel clips and molded rubber pads protect your side rails from scratches and abrasions. The pads easily slide onto the bottoms of each foot, and they're designed to fit the shape and contour of your vehicle's flush rails.

It took me a VERY long time to figure out what I needed to mount my Hullivator on my 22 Subaru Outback Limited. I bought the wrong parts on round 1, and finally after 2 yrs of frustration, asked AI what I needed. I don't entirely trust AI, but it got me on the right track. I asked the 'chat' person on etrailer about the AI suggestion, and the gal who helped me, Autumn, said the feet part was correct, but to use this fit kit. I ordered it immediately. Today was the day. Of note, this fit kit has specific parts for the front and rear passenger side and front and rear driver side. Pay attention to the photo directions!! The parts are different for each side. On my Outback, they mount at 69cm apart. The cladding and design of the Outback roof system leaves much to be desired, but this worked and I'm looking forward to FINALLY using my Hullivator.

I ordered a Thule rack, including the mounting feet and the cross bars. I then learned, less than a day and a half from our departure for a ski trip, the mounting feet needed a “kit” of hardware in order to function. I spoke with Justin at etrailer who confirmed the kit was in stock. Though it was mid-afternoon, Justin confirmed with etrailer Shipping the kit could go out for next day delivery. The next morning the kit arrived and I successfully mounted our rack system. Clearly my fault for not getting all the necessary components. Still, Justin solved my problem. “Customer Service” is alive and well at etrailer! Thanks, Justin!
Thule has great products, hands down, but Andy from etrailer and etrailer as a company are the best! Andy was so helpful, it was like talking to an old friend.
