Light through your bunk window can keep you awake, and at night or in public places, people can see straight inside. This custom-fit cover blocks both, with insulation that helps take the edge off heat or cold through the glass.
Your van's bunk window is just a pane of glass. During the day that's fine, but when you want the interior dark or private, that glass can become a problem. Light passes straight through it, and from outside there's nothing blocking the view in. This cover mounts over the window and turns that exposed glass into a solid panel, so your bunk area isn't lit up and the inside isn't visible when you don't want it to be.
Window glass transfers heat quickly. When the sun's hitting your van or the temperature drops outside, that heat or cold moves straight through the glass. This cover adds an insulated layer over your window so less of that heat or cold comes through. It won't change the weather, but it helps make the bunk space less affected by it.
Small metal tabs stick to your window frame during the initial setup. Magnets sewn into the cover line up with those tabs, so when you press the cover against the window, it holds in place. Once the tabs are installed, putting the cover up or taking it down only takes a few seconds.
The cover has a black side and a silver side. With the black side facing out, the window looks dark from the outside so people can't see in. With the silver side facing in, sunlight hitting your window is reflected back toward the glass to help limit heat on the interior surface, so the bunk stays darker, more private, and easier to sleep in.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Van Windows Direct window cover. Now, this is an insulated, magnetic window cover that's made by Van Windows Direct. And it is specifically designed to fit your VW3310L or VW3310R bunk half-slider windows. So obviously this will work on the driver or passenger side. This cover installs inside the van and uses magnetics, so there's no drilling or permanent hardware.
And as you can see here, you do have these little magnets with 3M adhesive on the back that you can set into place so that this will stick right into place and hold firmly in place with those magnets. Function-wise, this does three big things really well for you. First is insulation. It's going to keep the heat out in the summer and hold warmth in during that colder weather. And once it's up, secondly, you won't be able to see in or out.
So you're gonna get maximum privacy with these covers in place. And it's gonna block 100% of the light. So that's gonna be great for you for sleeping, or as my dad does, stealth camping. He uses something like this, so, especially if you're looking to stealth camping, these are going to be a must for you. The materials are automotive-grade, so it's durable.
It's built for van life rather than just being a generic sun shade. And so you're going to get a black side and then a more reflective side. And as I hope you've been seeing, these are going to fold easily in place and then hold together by those magnets. So you're not gonna have to worry about this potentially opening when you have these like in storage or something like that. But very high-quality shade.
I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. I think it's gonna last a long time. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out.
