Just what I ordered. Not the actual part which was needed. I was looking for the entry step lockout switch for a Fleetwood motor coach, this was not it.

The switch worked and fit in place no extra holes to drill

  • How to Keep Kwikee 25 Series Steps Extended with Motorhome Door Closed
Your Lippert Components Kwikee 25 Series Triple Electric Step # LC3658373 came with a manual override switch (see attached picture). Once the entire unit is installed you can use the manual override switch to keep the steps extended and ready for you to get back in your 2008 Forest River Georgetown. If you check out the attached review video you can see this is brought up at about the 1:10 minute mark. I have also attached a clip from the installation instructions showing how the switch...

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Steps With Wall Switch That Doesnt Stop Step Extending or Retracting
Since the Lippert Components Kwikee 25 Series Triple Electric Step # LC3658373 won't stay out when you flip the wall switch off, it sounds like you have the manual switch wired incorrectly. When the switch is off there should be no power getting to the magnetic door switch so the steps remain in whatever position you had them in prior to shutting off power to them. You can test the switch using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. You should have power to the switch on one terminal and...

  • Troubleshooting Kwikee RV Electric Steps That Will Not Stay Out
Did replacing your controller solve the issue temporarily or were the steps still closing when the door is shut? If there was no change the control module isn't the cause of the issue. Typically a bad ground connection can cause steps like these to act out but I know we've talked about this in the previous question you asked so I'm assuming you already checked yours and it's still giving you problems. From there it could honestly be the lock out switch. The internal contacts of the switch...

  • Replacement Step Switch and Step Switch Magnet for Lippert Components 32 Series Kwikee Steps
We actually do have the exact part number that you referenced. You said you needed part 905305000, which we have listed on our site as part # LC379390. I contacted Lippert Components who verified that this part is still manufactured. This will be a better option than using part # LC371010 that you referenced in your question. As for the magnet that you are looking for, the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Switch Magnet, part # LC369299, is the replacement kit for Kwikee 32 series steps like...

  • Will Electric Jack Switch LC387874 Work For Electric Steps?
Replacement Electric Jack Switch with Harness for Lippert High Speed Stabilizer Jacks # LC387874 that you were looking at could possibly work for electric steps, but this is not what it is designed for so I do not recommend it. Instead, I would look into Replacement Rocker Switch with Mounting Plate for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379390 if your setup uses 2 wires at the switch, or Replacement Center Rocker Switch for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC371010 if your setup uses 4 wires at the...

  • Replacement Control Module for a 164889
Possibly but I wouldn't start there. Your pn 164889 is the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step item # LC301702 which is the correct fit for your step but I recommend checking the switch which is item # LC379390 out first. It could be a simple power issue if yours has a switch. If it isn't a power switch issue, then I recommend checking the door switch which will look like item # LC301694. You could have some faulty wires, a bad connection, or just a bad door switch....

  • Troubleshooting Coach Step Not Retracting on 2005 American Eagle
They replaced your Kwikee step with a coach step. It really isn't an issue to do so just the assembly is different for the gear and motor than your previous step. The coach steps often have a separate switch inside the motorhome to turn off the power to your steps so they don't retract and extend when you are camping each time you use the door. If that is the case, you can flip the switch and the light and door switch should work properly. If they do not, then there may be an issue...
