I need a key for my sears sports 20-sv. The number on the lock has 3 characterc.

Thule manufactured the Sears Sports 20-SV cargo boxes, so their replacement keys will work as long as the box you have was manufactured in 1996 or later. The replacement key would be part number THKEYNXXX with the x's representing the three digits stamped on the face of the lock. So, if your lock has '039' or 'N039' stamped on the face, the correct replacement key would be # THKEYN039.
Keep in mind that the original keys were a bit shorter than the current replacement keys. There is a notch inside the lock core that may inhibit the replacement key from fully inserting into the lock core. When you receive the replacement keys you may need to tap the key into the lock core with a rubber mallet to fully insert the key. This only needs to be done the first time you use the key.

I have a blue oval sears sport 20-SV lock core code 860. I don’t know what year that is but I can’t find my key a I need a replacement. It doesn’t have a letter N on it anywhere. Would the N860 Thule let work as a replacement for it?
