Unlock and Loosen the Knob on a Thule Spare Me Spare Tire Mount Bike Rack with Lost Key

Question:
How to remove or unlock the spinning knob on Thule spare tire mount bike rack when no longer have key for it? Anyway to just have it cut off and just replacing locking mechanism with new key afterwards? Thanks!

There should be a number stamped on the lock core of the knob. With that number we can set you up with the correct replacement key so you don't have to damage anything.
The number is most likely NXXX where the X's equal a number like N2808 which would mean you'd need the key part # THKEYN2808. Below is link to all the keys we carry.
