My Thule hitch bike rack Vertex 4 was dropped during my move and the locking and non-locking end caps were broken (SKU 8523294001 & SKU 8523293001). I tried to get them at local stores and even at the Thule website but although they were available according the page, I was not able to order them. So I did it through etrailer.com and the pieces arrived a few days later. Although these pieces were easy to installed, David from etrailer followed up to confirm if the pieces had been delivered and to provide written instructions for the install. Great job guys!
Worked beautifully! I found the bolts (lock) component on Amazon and worked perfectly. Second time I’ve used etrailer for Thule replacement parts and each time very pleased. Great service and customer follow up!
The new rack arrived without the end caps. Your support representative got the parts delivered to my door in 24 hours so the mistake did not impact my trip. I couldn’t ask for better service. I recommend including the 1 screw that goes with the end cap in the part. It just makes sense.
