Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Roadmaster Smart Diode for incandescent taillights. It's for a quantity of one. Now the smart diodes will correctly display your RV's brake and turn signals on your towed car, with the variable voltage incandescent tail lights. Basically, it'll convert the 12 volt signal from your RV to a nine volt signal, so your tail lights work as intended. It'll also prevent feedback that can damage your vehicle's electrical components, keeps the battery from draining while you're flat towing, and it'll resist corrosion 'cause it has the powder coated aluminum casing on it.
Now this is for a quantity of one. Now this smart diode here, and it is labeled on here, is for variable voltage tail lights with incandescent bulbs. If you do happen to have variable voltage tail lights with the LED bulbs, you do need a different diode, and that's part number RM24DQ. We do sell that separately on our website, and if you notice, these are marked with what connections are what, shows you. But that's gonna do it for a look at the replacement Roadmaster Smart Diode for the incandescent taillights.
