Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this adapter. That's a five pin male to four pin female for your rear view safety camera systems. Now this adapter is designed to let you connect a system that uses a five pin male connector to equipment that has a four pin female connection. So in simple terms, this is going to act as a bridge really between the two components that wouldn't normally plug directly into each other.

This is made specifically for the rear view safety systems and it's gonna work with their MN, CA, and CB series cameras and monitors. So if you're mixing components within those product lines and the connectors don't match up, this adapter solves that problem. So this is not just a physical plug converter either.
