Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Longview replacement hardware it. This is going to be a replacement part for your Longview custom towing mirrors, for your later model Sierra's and Silverado's. Basically, these are going to allow you to keep those towing mirrors installed on your mirrors. The hooks hold them to your factory towing mirrors, and they easily mount in place to keep them nice and snug so you don't have to worry about your towing mirrors falling off or anything like that.
This kit does come with one clip and one hand knob for each towing mirror. These are made here in the USA. That's going to complete our look at the replacement hardware kit for your Longview custom towing mirrors.
Quality product. Added back for towing mirrors and leave on. Power mirrors close when needed. Original hardware kit wore out due to Arizona temperatures and removing regularly.
The replacement hardware worked well. Threads on one of the mounting nuts were cross threaded or damaged requiring replacement. Sales person was able to identify the mounting kit I needed from my very poor description and got the kit on order. Parts arrived within days.
The mirrors and the spare parts have worked out very well! Would buy again, if needed!
Very satisfied with this product. So far so good. A little dubious of the plastic threads in threads of gripping arm but you get what you pay for. The glass mirrors have remained in place in spite of 100 degree temps and gravel roads. Would/will buy again.

One of the adjustment nuts would not thread on either arm. Luckily I still had one that worked.

Great service. With follow-ups I wasn’t expecting. My parts came sooner than promised and exactly what I needed. The clamp on trailer mirrors are great. Have had for 2 years and they work great. I just bought a 2024 Chevy Silverado and the only way you can have trailering mirrors is by buying a LTZ level. GM doesn’t allow after market mirrors due to everything going through the computer system. These $80 mirrors are a bargain compared to upgrading to a LTZ

I absolutely LOVE my towing mirror extensions ! Have had them a year now, and they have done everything that I had hoped for and more. These are a high quality product, sold by a great staff at etrailer. I purchased the replacement straps as a “safety” issue, in the event one would break while on the road. Given the quality of this product, I doubt if I will ever have to use them.

These are exact original replacement parts to fit your mirrors. I bought them because the parts are plastic, and I assumed they may strip the threads easily. I WAS WRONG ! I haven’t even had the need to use the yet ! Being 70 - I’m sure I loose one or two, so I’m holding on to them. VERY happy with the product !
The mirrors are fine but these things break too easily and are expensive to replace. Not my first time.

I was pleased with my purchase as it pertains to good, speedy service. I purchased the items as a backup for my newly purchased Longview towing mirrors. Happy to report that I have not had to use the backup parts as the originals continue to perform just fine.

Bought for spares in case the ones that came with the mirror would break while on a trip. Original ones still working, good product, great price and etrailer.com is my go to for ordering part when I need them for my travel trailer, great customer support if you have a question and ship very fast.
The product fits as described. I have used them three times. Made backup into campsite safer. Being able to see vehicles behind the camper really set my travels a lot easier

The Longview Towing mirrors are very well made, except for the installation hardware... they are a big question mark on how long they will last, I decided to have a spare set!

Well, I think I purchased the mirrors from eTrailer but now it says they may not fit my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 LTD Denali - but they do. This part just breaks way too easy and cost way too much for what they are - the mirrors are $55.55 and this part is $33.94. 61 of the current full price. TRAPPED BY NECESSITY! The mirrors work great but I no longer have backups for these parts and I try to be very gentle with them while knowing THEY ARE GOING TO BREAK - and the mirrors become useless without this part. Pluses and minuses to everything.!
