Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a real quick look at this Dometic replacement shroud. Now, this is going to replace the white shroud for your Dometic Duo Therm Rv air conditioner. And on your screen, I have the model number of that air conditioner that this is going to fit. And this shroud is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. This is directly from Dometic, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original.
You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. And as you can probably see here on the sides of my table, you're going to get a set of eight mounting screws and also this foam gasket. So, that is included with his cover. So, if you are needing to replace the white shroud on your Dometic Duo Therm RV air conditioner, this is going to be exactly what you need. Fit like a glove
It fits perfectly on my 2005 Tiffin Allegro. All the holes matched up, much easier installation than the Amazon aftermarket replacement. This is worth the extra cost.
Item is described as a direct replacement for the model I have. However, the shroud that it is replacing has a 3" wide riser that will need to be transferred over to the new shroud. This requires drilling out rivets and sourcing new hardware (rivets that are not common at an auto parts or hardware store, and is not included with the new shroud) to complete this install. For that reason even though the shroud is almost an exact match to the original, this huge detail that is missed with the item description, therefore the 3 star rating.

Perfect fit, all holes lined up with my AC unit. It lost one star because it is overpriced for a simple plastic shell.
The shroud was an exact fit.The only issue I had with the installation was that the screw holes on the shroud did not line up with the shroud base screw holes. Considering that my trailer was a 2012 model I did not consider this to be a major problem.
