Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this replacement breakaway plug with 12 inch lead for your RVI series breakaway system. Now this part is indeed a direct replacement for the breakaway plug on your RVI trailer brake system. So if that plug ever gets lost, damaged, or corroded, this is gonna let you restore the system. So it's gonna work the way that it's supposed to.

This breakaway plug is what triggers the trailer's emergency brakes if it ever disconnects from the tow vehicle. So having a good, reliable one is important for safety. This replacement brings that protection back without needing to replace the whole system. So it does come with this 12 inch lead wire, so it's gonna be easy to splice into your existing wiring. So installation's gonna be pretty straightforward.
