When you need to grab tools or gear fast, the cover folds open in seconds. The Trifecta 2.0 uses a tri-fold design that opens at the tailgate so you can reach in without removing the whole cover. Fold up the rear and center panels to free up two-thirds of your bed, or lift the whole assembly off when you need full access. Integrated buckles hold the folded cover in place while you drive, keeping things simple and secure.
There are no loose parts or rails to install. The Trifecta 2.0 comes fully assembled with built-in clamps that store inside the bows. Just drop it on the bed, secure the Jaw-Grip clamps at the cab, and lock the EZ-Lock clamps at the tailgate. Since it clamps directly to the bed flanges, you don’t have to drill or modify anything. When removed, nothing is left behind on the bed rails, leaving a clean look and a wide-open bed.
Rain, dust, and snow stay out thanks to snap-on rubber seals that run the perimeter of the cover. The black leather-grain vinyl is permanently attached to the frame and sewn along the edges, so it won’t come loose or flap in the wind. The material has been tested to handle both extreme heat and cold without cracking or stretching, keeping your cargo protected through every season.
The frame and bows are made from aircraft-grade aluminum with a durable black powder-coat finish that resists rust. The hinges are glass-filled nylon with protective padding, and the four clamps are reinforced for strength. At about 35 lbs, the whole cover is easy to lift off when you need to haul big loads. It’s built tough to handle daily use while keeping weight down for quick handling.
When the tailgate is closed and locked, the clamps stay hidden and the bed stays secure. The cover sits about 1" to 1-1/2" above the bed rails for a clean, low-profile appearance that improves aerodynamics and helps with fuel efficiency. It gives the truck a finished look while keeping your gear out of sight and out of the weather.

Sorry to hear that, Craig. I can't say I have heard of one of these failing so quickly, so I am surprised. That said, the picture you sent is of a hard folding cover and what you ordered is a replacement for a soft folding cover. Is the picture of a different cover? And then also, can I ask who you contacted exactly? I checked your account and your email address, but I could not find anything sent in. Did you use a different email address by chance?

Very happy with cover, was very easy to install. Keeps everything in bed dry and hidden. Easy to remover for larger loads. Looks great still. All in all was a fantastic experience with product!

Product worked great for the time that I had the truck it was on. The material didnt fade from the sun and it never tore or scratched if something hit it. I definitely would purchase again.

I am very sorry to hear that install was more difficult than anticipated. A lot of companies do have an install policy, it was on there for more than one day which is why we can't take it back. Once again, my apologies that you are not more pleased with the cover, this is not the typical feedback I get on this product.

I reached out to Extang about the cover. The covers are designed to cover the inside dimensions of the bed. You will want to make sure that the cover is centered on the bed itself. Sometimes it seems like the cover should be closer to the cab window and that is not the case. You will want to make sure that it is centered. Also, the cover also is not always designed to cover the stake pockets.
