Today, we're going to take a look at the Replacement Step Pad for Aries 4-inch Wide Oval Nerf Bars. Now this is a Replacement Step Pad that'll fit the Aries Automotive 4-inch Wide Oval Nerf Bars with the five-sixteenths diameter pins. This part does include the one step pad and the four barrel clips to install it. This is made of a nice hard black plastic. Basically to install this, you just take your barrel clips, insert them onto your pins, and then push them right into the holes on the Nerf Bar. Very simple installation.
A few measurements on this, the overall length it's going to be right at 23 and five-eighths inches long. The width we mentioned is 4 inches wide, and the overall height on this is going to be right at one and a quarter inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the Replacement Step Pad for Aries 4-inch Wide Oval Nerf Bars.
Fits like OEM. Great replacement.

item is slightly lopsided when you step on it to enter the truck. afraid it might come off during this process

Looks fine, just curious why the plastic ‘pins’ on this one are so much larger than the prior piece I ordered and subsequently lost before securing it to bumper & are spaced differently than the those on first part though I thought I ordered same part number????????
Oddly enough, these line up with holes in bumper but looking for mounting suggestions as holes in bumper too large because they rusted out and little metal ‘cups’ will just fall through

Still working well after over a year of heavy use. Very happy with the product
The product is fine. It is the second one I have had to order. They are fast to respond that it is shipped. However, it stays at their facility for a long time and then travels very slow. When you question the status you don’t get any response until it finally arrives and they tell you it’s delivered.

Step plate still retains its original black color . Still pleased with the product . It has been installed on my truck , which sits outside , for one year . Florida weather is hard on exteriors .
The first one I ordered didn’t realize it came with the shims? Installation was good except for one post the shim pushed all the way to the top and was harder to secure. I was more careful with the second one and worked well.
Easy install but instructions were not included. A bit pricey for a piece of molded plastic. Looks a lot better than the cobbled together repair the previous owner of my truck made even though the new step has a slightly different appearance than the original.

A year later the step pad is holding up well. Every time I get in or out of the truck Im happy I made the repair.

The step pad worked great. I do not have any problems with it. Material is durable, very well made.
I read other reviews and thought it was operator error on the issue of the tabs not lining up with the holes. Well, those people were correct. Tabs don't line up with holes. I pounded with a rubber mallet and they still wouldn't install properly. Wasted $50 as im sure they will break off again when my boot catches the gap between the step and the bar. I defiantly won't use this brand again in the future.

This replacement step pad is designed to fit Aries Automotive 4 inch wide oval nerf bars with 5/16 inch 6.9 mm pins. Most step pads are custom designed to fit a specific style nerf bar. If this this step pad didnt work well for you, let us know the Brand, width, and pin diameter of your nerf bars and step pads and well be happy to see if we have the right step pads for you.
The product was exact replacement of the original part. Customer service was good as the part was shipped same day as the order. I was told the part would arrive within 3 days.
The bad news is that it was over two weeks before I received anything. Great product, friendly service, but cheap on the shipping. Hence 2 Stars instead of 5.
It was delivered fast, but fits a little loose hopefully it will stay on long term
So far I like the company. I don't have anything negative to say. Reliable and on time with delivery.
