Hi neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Rackham backpack blower adapter for your Stihl Echo RedMax blowers. So folks, this does work with a lot of different applications of the Stihl's and some Echo and RedMax blowers. I'll put those item numbers and model numbers on the screen for you. And this also is a backpack adapter for the Rackham backpack holders. And that part number sold separately is RA-4 or RA-19.

It also works with the Packem products that are out there on the market. Now you get the brackets, all the U-bolts, the big plastic tube here and everything included. And I wanna mention, you've got these two large U-bolts. They're about 2-1/4 on center here. Lemme pull one up here.

So roughly 2-1/4 on center. Keep in mind it is a little flexible and whatnot, and it's about 4 inches long if you go to the top of the U. So that's that guy that's the main one for mounting. And then the other two guys here, you get a longer one and a shorter one. I'll put those two up on the screen.

1-1/2 center to center on the threaded bolts, 3 inches tall on the long one, 2-3/8 on the short one. And again, that's gonna depend on which model that you're making it work with on your backpack blower. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look today. Trailer is well constructed but needs a few tweeks. It sits a little high so the angle of the gate when lowered is a bit steep. Also the weedeater racks could be extended out more and spaced better. Other than that, I am happy with the trailer. The service and communication were excellent and the price was great.

This item is suppose to be for attaching an echo blower to the rack'em kit. The item is for attaching an echo blower to the rack. The item is not needed and the vage instructions are about useless. After an hour of tinkering with it the bracket just ended up in the scrap metal pile.

This adapter is a bad design idea. It takes up the entire handle for the blower and has bolts sticking out too far. It also makes it every hard to line up the hole onto the hook, and when you do line it up, the hole is not big enough to go around the hook easily.

The adapter works as described on my Stihl BR-700. Unfortunately when installed you lose use of your handle to carry your blower.

Good product and works like it should for about 6 months. Used last year for 5 months and it started to bed had to do ALOT of fab work to make it somewhat alright to use. In the future I will spend $20 more and get a name brand that will hold up for at least a mowing season

I am sorry that you did not receive the installation instructions. To attach to the blower frame, the tubing must be slit lengthwise and wrapped around the frame before attaching the adapter plate with the 2 small U-bolts. The tubing will protect the frame and help hold the plate in place. Tighten the lock nuts until the plate starts to compress the tubing and it is held securely in place. Do not over tighten. Yes, the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PK-6-OP1 will work with no additional parts. However, adapters are required for certain blowers, STIHL 340, 350, 550 and 600 models require # RA-STIHL. If you don't have these products you won't need additional parts.
