How Does the Rackem Backpack Blower Adapter, # RA-STIHL Assemble and Attach to Rack # RA-4
Updated 05/25/2010 | Published 05/22/2010 >
Question:
I need to see the finished product for the adaptor please. You say slit the tube and wrap around the frame. Wrap it where on the frame? It would be much easier if you could show a photo of it on the bracket. Thanks

The plastic tube is slit down the middle and wraps around the frame or handle on the STIHL BR550 or BR600 Blower. The large hole on the top of the Rack'em Backpack Blower Adapter, # RA-STIHL, goes on the hook of the Back Pack Blower Rack, # RA-4.
One threaded end of a u-bolt goes through the small round hole, while the other threaded end goes through the long oval hole. You do the same with the other u-bolt. On the other side of the plate, the u-bolts go through the small rectangular plates, washers, and then the nuts. Once assembled it will be able to hold the frame of the Stihl blower via the plastic tubing.
