Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at E-Trailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 Lantern and Power Hub right here E-Trailer. So here we are in our studio. So I have our lantern on. You can see with our lights on, it doesn't make as much effect as when you turn the lights off.
You can now see it's brightness. So this is the lantern at its brightest, with all of the lantern engaged, and this is going to be 600 lumens. And now, I'll adjust the brightness. So let's just lower this style, and this becomes more dim. That's the lowest setting for the full lantern right before it turns off.
Goal Zero has a bunch of different options when it comes to powering your systems, powering your trailers, and lighting up your campsites, or hiking trails, or in our case, our teardrop trailer. So what I have here is the Goals Zero Lighthouse 600. So this is going to be the stronger of their lantern lineup, and it has a bunch of different features since it also works as a power hub. So we're going to take a look at those different features and see if it's the right fit for you, your situations, and whatever you need lit up. So let's focus on the light first.
So this is a 600 lumen, which is why it's called the Lighthouse 600, and it's going to be a warm white light. Here we have our full light, and then you can adjust the brightness with this knob, and once you have that all the way towards the center, you can flip it again and then just use half of the light. Right beside that dial, you have this battery level indicator. So it shows you how much charge you have. And this is going to be helpful because when you have it on the lowest setting, you can have it on for up to 320 hours, and when you have it on the brightness setting, you're going to run out of battery in about two and a half hours.
And when you do run out of charge, you can just plug this in to recharge it. So you have this USB plug. If you plug it into a USB port, just like this, it will take about six hours. And you can also use a solar panel like the Nomad 10 that will also take about six hours. This is also a power hub, so you can use this with power banks, like what I have here, which is the Gold Zero Flip 24. And this is highly recommended if you're going out on a hike, you're out camping, you're boondocking because that way, you can both charge your power bank or charge your lantern with your power bank. So both the output and the input are seven volts. Now, the output is limited to 7.5 Watts. The lantern's weight is 1.1 pounds, so it's a very lightweight. And there's three different ways you can store this or put this up. So you can just have it on its own and just place it on a shelf or inside of your trailer. And if you're inside your tent or in your trailer, and you want this to have more, or a wider area of light, what you can do is just bring these stands down, and that gives you that height and more light dispersion. And what if you don't have any USB outlets, you don't have a power bank, and you're out of battery What you can do in an emergency is use the hand crank on this side. So just flip that up and just crank that to create some power. Now, how much does it charge as you crank it Well, at 130 RPM, this charging it by one Watt. So it is going to take a while. And how about if you want to store this inside of your backpack when you go hiking So the dimensions seem to be four and a half, five inches wide, and then six and a half inches tall. So that's going to be helpful for if you're ultra light backpacking, or you just need something inside your hiking pack, and you're not sure if it can fit inside. Now, let's talk about durability and moving with this lantern for a long period of time. So, one thing I noticed was that this wire has a special slot for it just to fit in when it's not in use, and then you just take it out of that tab when you do want to use it. So just be mindful of that, and though that you don't pull it the wrong way, and so it can last a little bit longer. And if you are in an emergency situation, you can also use this as a flare. So just press that hazard button, and it just starts lighting up. So you'll have this off and just set this somewhere wherever you are in an emergency, and that way people know how to find you. And that was a look here at our Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 Lantern and Power Hub right here at E-Trailer. My name is Evangeline, and I hope you enjoy the journey..

Lighten your load with this 2-in-1 lantern and USB power hub. Long lasting battery provides power to disperse up to 600 lumens of light and recharge your phone or other small device.Only needed to use this once so far. Power went out in the middle of the day so I was able to put this in the bathroom for my family to still see with the door shut. Full bright is almost too bright so I only half to use half power when using it!
Bought the Lanterns as a gift for our grandchildren for when they do their farm chores. Much easier to handle than a flashlight and great for camping out. The company was wonderful to deal with and kept in touch until they came in. We definitely recommend to all members of our family to use. See you again!
This will be a favorite item at the campground this year. A novel idea and the light output is amazing.
This is a lantern I know I will use. It is very versatile and much brighter than other battery lanterns that are not this compact. I have gifted this item twice.
After using this camping light for one year it is still a great product and going strong. Everything I have ever purchased through etrailer.com has been quality and long lasting. Great company and always quick delivery.
Full disclosure- haven’t actually used this in the field yet. But did unbox the light and tested it in a dark room of my house. It seemed very able to supply enough light for any camper or camping area. Very light weight so transport from one place to another should be a breeze. Can’t wait for my next outing.
A bit smaller than I thought, but is a good thing. Going to use on the back of my slide in truck camper (I bought 2). Lights are plenty bright for application.
VERY GOOD!
I haven't had it very long but I really like the light and might buy another
Most Excellent! Have 3 now..
just like it said nice
