Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this TRIMAX hidden steel padlock. Now, this high-security, hidden shackle padlock features a large lock opening to cover and secure all trailer hasps to deter theft. And this lock is perfect for trailers, trucks, gates, and sheds. And this lock is a universal fit, but it is also designed to be used with the TRIMAX trailer hasp.

Now, this is designed and manufactured from one solid piece of steel for long-lasting durability. It is weather resistant, so there are no springs to rust. It does include three keys.
And this is very easy to use. I'm just gonna insert the key here, give it a turn and pull that lock out. So as you can see, very easy to use, very smooth operation. And let me pull out my ruler here and just give you some overall measurements, so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. I'm gonna be measuring here from the tallest point that you can see right there, sticks out just a little bit.
So, measuring from the tallest point, we are sitting right at about an inch and 5/8 tall. And then looking at the overall width or diameter, we are looking at 2 7/8 inches. That shackle diameter is 3/8 of an inch. This does have a limited lifetime warranty. And again, this is just for one hidden padlock, but we do offer more in quantity in different packages.
So, if you're needing more than one, we do carry a package of two, and then a package of three. And again, I'm including those item numbers on your screen. The lock may be great, I’ll only know if I discover it deterred a theft. My 3 stars are about the recognition that my order took weeks longer than originally informed. A couple days after it was due, I received a message saying that the order was delayed because of product unavailability. It was already overdue, I wish I’d been updated earlier, so I could possibly find another option.
This company is great in some ways. When I ordered my first order (a trailer hitch assembly kit to be installed on my vehicle.) I received same day response from the CSR team. A month or two later when I tried, more than twice to get some answers, I never received a single call or reply.
I instead sought help from a local vendor.
But because the actual product was not the issue, I returned my business for additional purchases.
Average is all I have to report about this company. At least average is better than lousy.

I've had typical padlocks maliciously cut off my trailer door previously, so I was looking for something to prevent this. These locks easily fit on the hasps on my trailer. They are essentially impossible to cut short of using some kind of heavy-duty power tool. They are attractive and appear to be weather resistant. They have lubrication ports. I'm very happy with my purchase of these locks.
Worked as designed. Fit on the trailer door closures without a problem.
These have been in use for a year and still open and close smoothly. Don't beat up the back of my cargo trailer and very secure. Really like that they come with 3 keys.
They were a bit tight on my hasps at first, but they work fine now. Keyed alike too, which is nice.

Received Puck Locks sooner than expected and was surprised at weight of package. After checking each lock and making sure each key worked on all locks, locks seemed to be of very good quality. Checked with friend who works in a trailer/shipping yard, he said locks were much better than M***er Locks his company uses. Put locks on trailer doors and they are a very good fit.

improved security to a degree. Just making it a little more difficult to get in.
They are not “universal”. One fit just fine on my man door. The back latches did not fit and when I tried to fit it upside down (big mistake) it got stuck. Now I’m going to have to cut it off to get my trailer door open. The one photo with no lock is the same as the other side. It doesn’t fit either. No surprise there.
It has been about 1 year of use, and both locks function well.
Purchased for a lock other than the trailer. Like it so much I have placed another order for a three pack for the trailer, itself!
