Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Replacement Cutting Edge for Western Snow Plows

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement cutting edge for your Western snow plows. Now, this is going to replace the cutting edge or scraper blade at the bottom of your Western snow plow. And this is going to mount at the the bottom of your blade or to the bottom of your blade as you well know. And of course, this is going to do a great job of breaking apart that ice and scraping away packed snow while you're clearing parking lots or driveways. This is going to be comparable to the Western part number that you see there on your screen, 49350.

And let's take a little bit of a closer overhead look. This is made here in the USA and is constructed of C-1090 carbon steel, giving you that premium strength and heavy-duty impact resistance. The Brinell Hardness Number is from 250 to 300. And this black powder coated finish is going to resist corrosion. Now, let me go ahead and go back out for a wide view real quick here, give you the overall measurement from end to end.

And I realize you're probably not gonna be able to see this, but we are sitting right at 90 inches long. And then going back overhead, let me bring my tape measure back in, show you the width here. So we're six inches wide, or six inches tall rather. And this is gonna be about a 1/2 an inch thick. And we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 holes for mounting.

And let me see if I can give you a measurement on camera there of what the distance is on center between these mounting holes. So as I hope you can see there, we're sitting really close to 11 1/4 inches between those mounting holes on center. Now, this does not include any hardware, so if you are in need of the mounting hardware as well, we do carry that. And on your screen, I am including our item number for that hardware. You're going to receive 10 half inch bolts that will allow you to mount this, so you'll have two leftover, since this cutting edge only has eight holes.

Now, I do wanna point out that I just gave you some of the basic measurements here, but if you're looking for additional measurements that we did not cover during our time together, take a look at this product page.
