Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at this Victron Phoenix with a VE.Direct inverter, a NEMA 5-15 plug. This is a 24 volt or 1200 VAs or volt amps of continuous pure sine wave output. So that's gonna give you clean, stable power for your sensitive electronics, such as laptops, chargers, small appliances, even tools maybe. It's gonna give you all of that without the noise and or distortion that you would see with cheap inverters.
So if you get grainy things on your television or laptop screens, those kind of things, you won't get that with pure sign wave. So again folks, this is going to efficiently turn that 24 volt battery power into quality 120 volt of AC electric current, just like your household appliances. Now, one standout feature that I like about this other than the power cord or adapter plugin here rather, is their V direct communication port and that's down here and that's gonna allow you to connect to VE.Direct with a USB cable or use their Victron Connect app using Bluetooth. From there you can then monitor their performance, adjust settings, view realtime data right from your phone, smart device or lab type. And this inverter also offers an echo mode and that's gonna reduce idle power consumption.
It's gonna have remote on and off support so you can turn on and off remotely. It has built-in short circuit, low battery and even over temperature safeguards, making it super safe and reliable. Folks, I usually save products are either in a good, better, best category. In my opinion, this is a best category. It's super duper tough, it's a great product.
Victron's been around for ages as far as some dimensions, 12 and seven eighth inches long this way, nine and eighth wide. That's to the outside of these brackets when I measured that nine and one eighth. And the height is right about four and five eighth inches tall. So again, folks, compact, robust engineered for professional duty. This is a great choice again when you want dependable AC power from that 24 volt battery bank.
Now folks, obviously there's a lot more that goes into the the unit than just this by itself. You're gonna need some other stuff in line in front of this after this, et cetera. If you need help picking out any of that or making sure you're getting the right stuff, you can always reach out to us here at etrailer. We're more than happy to assist you in any way we can.
