When a stored 24V battery bank won't stay charged, basic indicator lights don't tell you much about what's actually happening. Built-in Bluetooth gives you wireless monitoring, configuration, and firmware updates through the Victron app, and charge history logging stores lifetime usage data plus detailed statistics for the most recent 40 charge cycles. A charger that only offers fixed presets can be a poor match when you're storing batteries for long stretches or switching battery chemistry. For equipment, RVs, or other batteries that sit between uses, it stays active without keeping the battery at the same charging level all the time.
Some chargers won't do anything when battery voltage falls too far, which leaves a deeply discharged battery looking dead before charging even starts. This charger initiates charging from zero volts, and it reconnects to Li ion batteries with internal disconnect protection. When a neglected battery has dropped hard or a lithium battery has gone into protection mode, the charger can begin recovery instead of sitting there with no output.
Moderate-output chargers still build heat during extended use, especially when they stay connected in enclosed spaces. This unit charges at 16 amps in normal mode, drops to 8 amps in NIGHT or LOW mode, operates at 94 percent efficiency, and uses overtemperature protection that automatically reduces output current as temperatures increase while continuing operation. You get steady 24V charging with less wasted energy, quieter low-output operation when needed, and current reduction instead of a hard stop as temperatures climb.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron Blue Smart 24-volt Battery Charger with Bluetooth. Now this is a high quality, basically a set it and forget a charger that's designed to safely and efficiently keep your batteries healthy. This is going to put out 16 amps and it has one charging output. So this is meant to charge a single 24-volt battery bank and you're just going to plug this into your standard 120-volt.
Lemme try that again, your 120-volt household outlet. So once you have this plugged in, this is going to do the rest. Now, what really sets this apart is that it is indeed a smart charger. This does use Victron's adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm, which means it's gonna automatically adjust how it charges based on your battery's condition. That's gonna help prevent overcharging, it's going to improve performance and it's going to extend your battery's life over time.
Another big plus is this does have Bluetooth, which you can connect it with a Victron app on your smartphone or tablet, and that app is going to be a free download from either Android app store or iOS's app store. So you're gonna be able to see the charging status, you're gonna be able to tweak settings and monitor performance, and no extra accessories are gonna be needed. This is constructed of aluminum, so it's durable. I think it's gonna hold up well for you. This does have an IP22 rating, meaning it is intended for indoor or protected environments like your garage, your workshop, RV bay, or boat cabin.
So this is not designed to be fully exposed to weather. This is commonly used in boats, RVs, off-grid systems, workshops, and industrial setups where reliable battery charging does matter. So I'm gonna lay this down here. It's gonna be a little bit easier for me to measure. So taking a look at what I guess could be defined as the height, we're sitting pretty close to right about nine and 11/16ths inches tall.
Looking at the width, about four and 5/16ths inches. And then the depth, about two and 5/8ths inches deep. It does what I expected it to do, I especially like the multiple lite display that show the state of charge and the type of charge.
Quality process is easy. E trailer does not provide customers with accounts like Amazon or Walmart or others. so, every time you order online you have to input all of your information over and over again for every order. This is a barrier to sales. Please e trailer Please update your software. I love you guys but I'm not going to be answering my information over again and over again when I can just go to Amazon or Walmart or other places.
This is the perfect charger for my DIY power bank. I especially like the size and ease of use. I downloaded the Victron app to monitor and control the charger settings.
