Hey there, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. If you're looking for a way to store your two kayaks so not just on the ground or all over your front yard, this is going to be the RaxGo freestanding two kayak rack. This will sit on its own, whether indoors or outdoors, and it's gonna be a great way to store your kayaks. This will have a total weight capacity of 175 pounds and can carry a variety of kayaks. Now I do recommend putting the bottom kayak as the heaviest one and your lighter kayak up top, but other than that, this is gonna provide a very sturdy system for carrying your even heavier kayaks. Now RaxGo has a variety of options when it comes to kayak storage.
They have some wall mounted options. They even have a kayak here that can carry up to four kayaks on there. This two kayak version is available with standalone feet or with caster wheels. The feet are adjustable if you are storing your kayaks on an incline, and you also have this side optional bracket here. Now we are on an epoxy floor similar to what you would have in your garage.
So we don't really need this secondary bracket. However, if I ever was installing this outside, I'd definitely secure this bracket to the ground and that way that gives us some extra support for gusts of wind that may come by. Supporting the kayaks are these J hooks similar to a kayak carrier. Now these are gonna be metal hooks that are adjustable up and down depending on where you install them. And you have a foam padding with a cloth covering.
This foam padding is similar in material to a pool noodle. Now you just set your kayak into that J hook, and depending on the height of your kayaks, that's where you would adjust where the hooks sit to make sure there's enough space for both of them. We've used both of RaxGo's freestanding kayak carriers here at etrailer for a while now. We love them for storing our kayaks when we are not on kayaking trips. Now something that I recommend is depending on where you have this predominantly will determine whether you want the one that has caster wheels or the one that could be bolted to the ground.
If you have a garage where you may be moving your kayaks around closer to your car, this freestanding rack with the casters is awesome for that. That way you can push the kayaks over to your car, makes it a lot easier. Now sometimes I like to go down to the lake, and we have kayaks there too. This would be perfect for that, especially if we have this installed close to the dock. That way our kayaks are safe and secure, up elevated off the ground, and they're still outside and available and easy to grab and just get out onto the lake with. So it's totally up to you how you're using your kayaks and where you plan on storing them. But RaxGo has this solution for whatever situation you may find your journeys to be. This is a look at the RaxGo freestanding kayak carrier for two kayaks right here at etrailer. My name is Evangeline, and I hope this video helped you out.
