Video Transcript for Review of Access Mud Flaps - Custom Fit - A25ZX

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Access Rockstar custom mud flap. Now folks, this is what we consider a full width mud flap. It is adjustable as far as the height to go higher or lower, and it has a nice diamond tread plate finish. So obviously, due to space constraints, I'm not able to show you this in all its glory in front of me, so I do wanna throw up an image on the screen for you to give you kind of an idea of what this would potentially look like on your truck once you get everything installed.

Now this is a custom fit application, so always, always make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com where it says My Vehicle Information. Enter things like your make and model, cab style, bed length, whatever it asks you to be sure you get in the right parts the very first time. And like I mentioned before, I don't have all the space needed to get these fully put together for you because, again, you know, there'd be two of these side by side. So you get one, two. So you have a passenger and driver's side, diamond tread plate sides.

And then you have two that mirror each other of these rubber pads here that make up the actual mud flap itself, or rock guard itself rather. Now those are gonna be, per the manufacturer, 5/16 inches thick. When I measure with my ruler, I get about 3/8 of an inch, 5/16, pretty much the same thing, more or less. You know, obviously rubber can, you know, be thick or thin depending on how it gets rolled out when it's being made so kind of take that with a grain of salt, as you will, as far as that measurement. But what these are gonna do for you is they're gonna help protect everything from flying up and tap in, whether it's another vehicle behind you or, you know, your trailer, your camper, fifth wheel, whatever you're pulling, it's gonna help protect that.

And it does come with all the hardware here needed to attach to the vehicle side and then also onto the flaps themselves. And what's nice about this kit is it should more or less be a drill-free installation. There may be some minimal drill required, but more or less everything just bolts right up into place. You have a nice thick piece of steel right here, and what that's gonna do is you have two of these long aluminum bars. These are gonna be what stiffen up those mud flaps.

And where the two pieces come together, this is going to attach one half and then to the other half, making everything nice, stiff, rigid, and strong to then be able to hold everything up together once it's installed. So again, folks, a great option for you. It's gonna give you maximum protection compared to those standard size mud flaps.
