This miniature version of the Clearsource Premier gives you an easy to carry and highly effective filtration system. The only difference we see is a slower flow rate at 4.5 gallons a minute. That's still about double what a shower head uses.

We've been very impressed with Clearsource's water filter systems. They are well built, effective, and premium solutions for getting the highest quality drinking water no matter where your journey takes you. The Premier system is a great 2-stage model that you can take on your RV trip, out to a family picnic, or even use at home. The portability is great, but it is a bit on the larger size.
The new Premier Mini makes this system even more portable while not compromising on water quality. The only thing it seems to sacrifice is flow rate. Since the filters are smaller, there's less surface area for water to flow through. The Mini has a flow rate of 4.5 gallons a minute compared to the standard size's 6.5 gallons per minute.
Consider that a RV shower head uses about 2.5 gallons per minute. That means you're still going to get more than enough flow, just as long as you don't have two or three appliances using water all at once. You should consider your own water demands and decide if this will be enough or if you need to go with the larger sized Premier to get the best performance.
The first stage of the Premier uses a 5.0-micron coconut shell carbon block filter to capture sediment, insecticides, pesticides, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, and other solvents to improve the taste and smell of your water. The second stage features an industry-leading 0.2-micron filter to trap even the most harmful bacteria.
A micron is a unit of measurement equal to 0.0001 cm and is often used to define the size of water contaminants. The micron rating of a filter is the size of the largest pores in it that allow water to pass through while trapping contaminants. A common misconception of water filters is that the higher the micron rating, the better the filter. It's actually the opposite. While a 5.0-micron filter can sift out rust and sediment, a filter with a 0.5-micron rating can filter out insecticides, pesticides, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds. Lower micron filters can also trap heavy metals and the more harmful microscopic water contaminants, such as E. Coli, the Giardia cyst, Legionella, and viruses including Hepatitis A, giving you cleaner, safer, and better tasting water.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Clearsource, two canister, Premier Mini RV water filter system. Now this is an outdoor, two stage water filter system. It'll purify the water from your RV hookups and other exterior faucets. This will give you nice clean water for drinking, showering, cooking, washing dishes, and even more. Now, this is the miniature version of the Clearsource Premier, which will give you an easy to carry and highly effective filtration system.
Now, the only difference from the larger Premier model to this Premier Mini is the size. It's about five and a quarter inch shorter than the larger Premier model, and then the flow rate is a little bit slower. The flow rate on the Premier, the larger model, is six to six and a half gallons per minute. The flow rate on this Mini model is about four and a half gallons a minute. Now that's still about double of what a shower head is gonna use.
And I have these unscrewed, just so we can talk about the filters. This is the first stage filter, and here's the filter right in here. This is a 5.0 micron coconut shell carbon block filter. This will filter out chemicals and sediment to improve the taste and the smell. And then once it goes through this one, it'll go through the second stage right over here.
This second stage is a 0.2 micron filter, and this is gonna filter out harmful bacteria, such as E. coli and legionella. Now the canisters they're in, let me take a filter out just to show you. These are FDA grade oversized canisters, so they're gonna provide a high water flow for stable, long-lasting water pressure. And they do include this can canister wrench.
It'll make it easy to remove and install the filters. So basically this one here with the filter already in it, if we just put it up on there and you can see as you can start tightening it down, you can tighten it all the way by hand. And then once you get it snugged up by hand, just like that, you can take this filter or this wrench and then just put it on there and it'll allow you to snug it up. And you don't wanna overtighten, you just wanna snug it up to where it's nice and tight, and you'll do it on the other side. Now the frame it's on is a powder-coated, free standing frame. This will keep the canister stable on the ground or on a table, and it is a convenient plug and play set up. Very easy take down at any campsite, you just set up between the water source and your RV's freshwater connection. Now the hoses that'll go in here and out here, these hoses we do sell separately on our website, but basically you'll see over here, we have a female hose, where the water's coming in at and then where it comes out this way, after it goes through the filters, it's got a male connection. They are rustproof, stainless steel hose fittings, which are more sanitary and more durable than just a plastic fitting. This unit is IAPMO certified. It is made in the USA A few dimensions on this Mini, width on is 11 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and about six inches deep. Operating pressure on this unit is, total range is about 25 to 100 PSI. Ideal range is gonna be about 40 PSI to 65 PSI. And the operating temperature range, 35 degrees Fahrenheit up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Clearsource, two canister Premier Mini RV water filter system.
ask me next year as by then I’ll have some experience with your product.
