Today, we're going to take a look at the Furrion Marine Power Cord Adapter, 30 Amp female to 50 Amp male plug. Now these Furrion pigtail adapters are used to convert plug sizes from your dock side outlet. This pigtail adapter will attach to your boats inlet to get a plug for attaching an extension cord to the female locking plug on this connects to the 30 Amp power inlet on your boat. And the male locking plug over here will connect to 125/250 volt, 50 Amp extension cord that can be run to an electrical hookup. Now the extension cord is not included. You would have to supply that. They do on each connector has a power smart LED right here and one right here that will indicate when power is present and active.
They are a bright blue LED, which power voltage indicator. The female plug right here has these nice side grips for easy user-friendly connection. Has a nice weatherproof end cap so when you're not plugged in, you can just put it over the end to protect the connection points. It does also offer this.. Includes this threaded locking seal collar with a ring on it.
So basically what that will do, you can screw that in to make a nice tight sealed connection between the two.Now this is a heavy duty marine-grade construction. It is a universal fit with all other brand cords. You can see it's a nice high visibility, yellow color. It even includes this hook and loop cable strap so when you're going to store it, you can just put the two ends together and run your strap around them, just like that, it'll hold them together. It also includes this nice weatherproof storage bag for carrying it.
Few specs on this, the amperage on the female plug is 30 Amps, the male is 50 Amps, voltage is 125/250 volts, and the cable type is four wires, 10 gauge size wire. So again, we can just take the complete adapter, drop it into the storage bag. It does have a nice heavy duty zipper on it. Completely close it. Keep it getting grime, dirt or grime on it.
And then we can put this on the handles and then just like that, you can see you can store it or carry it wherever you need to. That should do it for the Furrion Marine Power Cord Adapter, 30 Amp female to 50 Amp plug..
