Today we're going to take a look at the CIPA Bolt On 6-inch Round Convex HotSpot Mirror. Now this hotspot mirror will help eliminate dangerous blind spots when your driving, so it'll let you safely and easily pass or change lanes. The convex face on this provides a nice wide field of vision, and the ball-and-socket joint right you can see, will let you rotate the mirror in all directions for perfect positioning. Now it does easily install on either side of your vehicle. The L-shaped bracket is included for quick bolt on mounting. It has a nice, durable stainless steel housing with a black finish.
Again, the quantity is for one blind spot mirror with the mounting bracket. The diameter on this again is going to be measured all the way across, is six inches. That should do it for the review on the CIPA Bolt On 6-Inch Round HotSpot Mirror.

Although etrailer had a clear photo of the convex adhered to the same mirror that I have on my Ram 2500, they are substantially larger than I expected. Needless to say, I ordered a smaller set since these are too large for my liking.
I've ordered these mirrors in the past and was completely satisfied with them. For some reason these mirrors are extremely hard to find at the stores, be it Walmart or the part stores.

I needed a spot mirror that would eliminate a blind spot. I mounted this mirror under the original mirror on the mirror arm. Fit perfectly and only took 1 minute to install.
I liked this mirror so well on the driver's side, I ordered a second one for the passenger side of my '06 Dodge Sprinter View. Now I have a good side View on both sides of my View! etrailer is a Rock Star!

Easy to install on existent mirrors.
When first installed, one fell off. Fortunately, it was in the parking lot. Reinstalled it and it’s still fine after a year.
You can see the edge of the glass very slightly. Not really a problem.

These stick on mirrors are great very useful and still look like brand new for a year old.. They adjust perfectly for that blind spot.
Greatly improves rear visibility
Bought the custom extensions mirrors for my Silverado to aid in backing up our new camper trailer. Easy to install and remove. Videos were a great help. They not only helped in parking the camper but added a great deal of visibility while driving which makes for a safer trip.

I mounted these mirrors on our Winnebago Ford E350 chassis. It has the standard Velvac mirrors with the stick-on blind spot mirrors. The stick-ons used up a lot of my flat glass real estate, making it harder to see behind us. To upgrade the Velvacs would have cost a few hundred dollars. Over a two week period I devised a couple of mounting solutions. I bought two 5/16" ubolts to mount onto the mirror arms. The radius was large enough I used fuel line to pad and insulate the ubolts. One thing I appreciate about these mirrors are the wrench flats on the 1/4" stud and the fact that the tension can be adjusted on the ball joint. etrailer good service as usual.

Only thing is I should have checked to see if you had not sure what they are called but “ brackets “ that go around bars for mirror mount would be nice to have a choice of size. Hard to find and would have saved me shipping and made a bigger sale.

Anyway here is mine.
I Needed to put extension mirrors and wanted square ones to match and found them on your site. I still need to figure out one mount need like a 3” arm and a 1-1/2” and 1” clamps to stabilize passenger mirror.
Two things I didn’t like was..
1, the loose mirrors inside the plastic housing probably going to just put clear silicone on edges.
2, the sticker ....
“ objects in mirrors are closer than they appear “
has glue that’s hard to remove and leaves a residue. Cling on label would have been better.

Works really well
Had purchased mirrors to fit my Jeep while the doors are removed. However, the passenger side mirror was a normal mirror, which made visibilty poor. This mirror was an exact match and greatly improves visibility.
I've ordered these before (for my Jeep). This set is going on my son's Jeep. They work great with the Rugged Ridge mirror arms. Moving to these convex mirrors eliminates all blind spots and also allows you to see your ear tire (important if you rock crawl).

Excellently, they are performing as the day they were new. Often these types of mirrors lose their rigidity such that re-adjustment is needed to keep the trafic image centered, but not with youre mirrors. They remain reflective so the image appears clear and distinct a fine product at a good price. Thx
