Today we're going to be taking a look at the Cruiser Tuf Trunk Grip, Part Number CR79001. Fingerprints and scratches can make your trunk look like junk. We could've avoided these dings and scrapes with the Tuf Trunk Grip. It installs behind your license plate, allowing you to open and close your trunk without having to touch your vehicle's finish. No more fingerprints, scrapes from jewelry, or stains from hands. It features a drain so it won't collect any water, and because it's clear, it won't obstruct your license plate, and light can just shine right through. Depending on your vehicle, you can either mount it in the down or up position, and it includes anti-rattle hardware so you don't have to listen to it rattle while we're on the road. It's constructed out of a heavy-duty polycarbonate and it features a lifetime warranty.
Now you don't have to be in a funk about damaging your trunk. Now that we've gone over some features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing we're going to do is remove our license plate. Now, ours is going to take a Phillips head screwdriver. Now we can go ahead and bring in our Tuf Trunk Grip and our license plate, and we're going to do some assembly. What I'm going to do is I'm going to line up all the holes, hold it in place, then I'm going to start installing my spacers.
What we want to do is take our plastic screw and we're going to put one spacer on it, put it through the bottom hole. We'll take our nut and put one spacer on it and get that started on the back side. Then I'm going to repeat the same process for the other side. Once I get it nice and secure, I can just hold the back side, take my Phillips head screwdriver and give it another good turn. Now we can just reinstall our license plate and our hardware. With it all tightened down, let's go ahead and try it out.
Perfect. That's going to complete our look at the Cruiser Tuf Trunk Grip, Part Number CR79001.
