Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Besttop Trailmax II Fold-N-Tumble rear seats for your Jeep. So this is going to fit a wide range of Jeeps and it's going to give you a new option for your rear seats in your Jeep to maximize your space. It also gives you a nice comfortable spot for your rear passengers to hang out and enjoy the ride.The advancement with the seat itself is going to be that it has a variable resistance spring inside the base here. So as you're going down the road and more force is put onto that spring, it's going to give you more resistance so you will have less of that bottoming out or kind of squishing feeling. You won't be able to really feel those springs.

It's going to give you a more comfortable ride there. And then it's also going to have a waterproof closed cell foam on the inside to pad those springs. So it gives you a nice durable seat, should be able to resist any kind of rain or a sunny conditions. It's a UV resistant material for the seat covers. So if you have the top down, you shouldn't have to worry about those fading over time.But the big thing about this is that we can actually fold it out of the way.

So if we look to the side here, we'll have this little handle. And you just pull on that guy and that's going to allow you to fold this down, create more space in the back of your Jeep. But then you can also pull the rear most handle there, and that's going to allow you to flip it up into a vertical position. I can't really show you that with my setup here, it'll kind of tip off of my little table. But you're just going to pull on that and then it'll allow you to release it from the hook that you would have mounted back here, that just mounts into that.Comes with all the hardware to get this installed.

Should be a pretty straightforward install, as well. To get this back up to seated position, just push it all the way until that handle locks into place. It doesn't make a sound or anything. It doesn't make a snapping sound, which was something that I would kind of like to have, but it does lock into place and gives you that comfortable seat again.At the back you'll notice we'll have this zippered pocket so you'll have a little bit more storage space in there. Can fit maybe a spare change of clothes, your map, some extra snacks, books, other things.

Whatever kind of small flat items you'd want to keep in that back pocket, you can. You'll have this entire space to fill up with all kinds of good stuff.We take a look at the fit for this. It is going to fit a lot of different vehicles styles. Give you that list again. So going from 1955 up to 1999, so that's going to be the Jeep CJ-5, 6 and 7, as well as the YJ. So if your Jeep fits one of those years, it should work out for you. And again, it should be replacing the existing hardware for that rear seat.So we'll get the brackets to mount that in place. That's what's going to hold the front of that down. Yeah, that's going to be the front bracket, just had to check and make sure. And then we'll also get that little rear loop that I showed you before, as well as the hardware to get this installed. It also has the instructions on how to do that and they have a list of all the tools that you're going to need to get the install done. So it should be relatively straightforward. It shouldn't be too bad. Something that you can definitely do in an afternoon and get that new seat replaced out.This also has a lot of options for different colors. So if you want to check those out, you can see at the bottom of the screen several different colors that are going to be on vinyl material, like this one that I have right here. But there's also a fabric option, which just has a little bit of a weft to the fabric. So that is going to be those part numbers that you see down at the bottom of the screen now. So again, it's going to be available in gray, black and tan, matches the interior of your Jeep.So you have some options and you can find all of those part numbers right here at etrailer.com. So you do have options with this. They're all going to be the same as far as the construction and the functionality of the seat. You're not going to really gain or lose anything there. It's still going to have the same closed cell foam on the inside. It's just this outer fabric is all that's changing.But I think this is going to be a great option to make the rear passenger feel more comfortable in the back, and also still give us the option to flip that seat up and whenever we need the cargo space. But we don't have to worry about taking the whole seat out, which can be a huge headache. So it gives us kind of the best of both worlds. One other little thing, we can adjust the head rest here, pretty much standard with any other automotive seat. So you just make that adjustment by pressing the button on the side and that's going to be the same for both head rests.All in all, I think this is going to be a great addition to your Jeep. And again, with all those different color options, you should be able to find the ones that best matches with your application. That's going to do it for me.
