Today, well be taking a look at the Camco Dcor-Mate RV stovetop silencer, countertop, and cutting board, part number CAM43704. This stovetop countertop gives you more counter space in your RV and silences the rattling of your stove burners. It also hides and protects your burners or it can be used as a cutting board or a serving tray. Its made out of a durable polyethylene, will not dull knives, and cleans easily with soap and water. Well take our stovetopper and lay it on top of our stove. I do want to show you this backing.

Its a nonskid backing thatll keep the board from sliding around on the grates of your stovetop, so go ahead and lay that down.As you can see, I can put pressure on it and try to move the board, and its not sliding. This board is about 19.5 long by 17 wide and 0.5 high. Itll fit a three and four burner stove. The black color also helps give an attractive look to your kitchen. Really like the cover. I don't have to worry about a glass one breaking, it's a cutting board and it stays in place on our stove top

This fits perfectly on the top of my stove. I stays put while traveling (the rubber bootom works for this) and makes the stove top useful especially when doing the dishes. I do not use for a cutting board.
Bought for more "counter" space and it is perfect for that. When not in use rest against the back splash out of the way.

This has really extended the counter space! It stays in place during travel and is easy to clean. I like the nice clean unblemished look so I don't use it as a cutting board. Matches the black stove and looks good.

I took off our stove grill and then cut this down to make a more flat stove surface. it cuts nicely and the black color goes all the way through so it still looks great.

The Camco Decor-Mate RV Stovetop Silencer, Countertop, and Cutting Board part # CAM43704 is essentially a stove top cover that doubles as a cutting board. It is made of polyethylene which is essentially a thermoplastic polymer that can withstand heat but it will not be the best for an electric skillet or electric grill if there is substantial heat transfer from the device to the base. Can the Camco Stovetop Silencer Be Used On Top of Glass on Range
Yes. There's nothing about the Camco Decor-Mate RV Stovetop Silencer, Countertop, and Cutting Board - Polyethylene - Black # CAM43704 that would damage the glass cover over your burners and it will provide you with a nice protective barrier over the glass. I don't recommend leaving it over the glass during travel though; even though there is a non-skid backing there could be bumps that would lift the board up and create an issue that could break the glass.

Can Camco Decor-Mate RV Stovetop Silencer be Left on While RV is Moving
The Stovetop Silencer # CAM43704 is meant to be used while traveling in your RV. It has a non-skid backing to keep it from sliding but if you were to hit a bump that was bad enough it could bounce a little. I do not think that it would bounce so much as to fall off though. Can Camco Decor-Mate be Placed on an Induction Cooktop?
I see no reason why not; you should be able to use the Camco Decor-Mate RV Stovetop Silencer, Countertop, and Cutting Board # CAM43704 just fine on an induction cooktop. The Decor-Mate is 19-1/2" long x 17" wide x 1/2" high so keep that in mind in terms of fit.
