Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Ohio State 2" hitch cover from AMG, the hitch cover's going to allow you to show your school pride, it's going to add a clean finish look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover's made from a steel construction, it's going to feature a really nice, black, powder-coat finish which is going to do a great job at resisting rusting and corrosion, making sure that the hitch cover looks good for many years to come. Here on the front, we're going to have the color emblem with a nice chrome-plated metal border, gives it a nice, sleek, stylish design. It's got a nice rust-proof and fade-proof design, the product is American made, here on the backside, it's going to feature a foam gasket that slides around the piece that goes into the receiver tube of our hitch. That foam gasket's going to help really reduce rattle in between the hitch and the hitch cover, it is an officially licensed product, it's going to require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for complete installation. Those items are sold separately, so if you're in need of one, you can find them here at etrailer.com. The pin holes on the hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall width at the hitch cover face.
We're looking at about 5 inches overall height, it's going to measure about 3 1/2", and then the distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole is going to be about 2 1/2". This is designed for a 2" x 2" hitch, very simple installation, all you got to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes, and it's secured in place with the hitch pin and clip or hitch lock. That's going to to do it for today's look at the Ohio State 2" hitch cover.
