Your old AC couldn't keep up. This ducted kit delivers powerful cooling through every vent, with matched components for a smooth install and the reliability to keep your RV comfortable season after season.
One of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are compatible. This kit takes that off your plate. The rooftop unit, air distribution box, and thermostat are made to work together, so installation is smoother and the setup more reliable. Whether you're doing the install yourself or paying someone else to do it, having everything in one kit makes the process faster and less stressful.
With 15,000 Btu of cooling power, this system moves air through your ceiling ducts to cool larger RVs or drop the temperature fast in smaller ones. You'll feel the temperature shift within minutes, not hours, so your RV stays comfortable even in the middle of summer.
The air distribution box gives you full control right at ceiling level, with simple knobs you can reach without digging for remotes or climbing over furniture. Open the louvers for direct cooling into the cabin or close them to push air through your ducts. The slim, low-profile design leaves you with more overhead clearance inside, and the swing-open grille makes it easy to reach and wash the filter. No tools needed. Just pull, rinse, and snap it back into place.
Sometimes it's not cold enough to run the furnace, but it's too chilly to be comfortable. This system is prepped for a 5,600 Btu heat strip (sold separately), which is a simple way to take the edge off on those in-between mornings. It's easy to install and helps your space warm up without the noise or power draw of a full furnace cycle.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 15,000 BTU Ducted RV Air Conditioner System with this polished black shroud. Now, one of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are compatible with each other. This kit's gonna take all that off of your plate. This rooftop unit comes with this air distribution box and thermostat that are all designed to work together, so the installation should be smoother and nothing's gonna catch you off guard.
So whether you're doing the installation yourself or you're having somebody else do it for you, having everything designed together in a kit is going to make your job faster, easier, cleaner, and a whole lot less stressful. Now this is made for RVs with ducted air with 15,000 BTUs of cooling power. This is going to give you about 10 to 12% more cooling power than a 13,500 BTU unit, so this is going to be helpful in those larger RVs or campers, think about 30 feet long and longer, especially those with slide-outs, or it's gonna be great for those hot, humid climates where that extra capacity is going to help keep your RV more comfortable. Inside the unit are large coils and airflow-boosting fans that's going to help pull heat out more efficiently, so your RV's gonna stay cooler with less strain on the system. Looking at some overall measurements of the unit itself, the overall length we're sitting pretty close to 39 inches, and then the overall width we're sitting right at about 28 inches wide, and then this is a medium-profile unit, so the overall height is gonna be almost 14 inches tall.
This is going to fit over your standard RV roof opening of 14-1/4 inches by 14-1/4 inches, and this weighs about 85 pounds. So this unit is built with copper tubing and secure joints to help it stay sealed and running season after season, and, as you can see, the shroud is a streamlined medium-profile shroud that I think is gonna help reduce drag, and this has a polished black finish that's gonna give you a sleek look. I think it's gonna do a good job of blending in with most modern RV aesthetics. I just wanted to point out with this polished black, you have that on the sides and on the front here, that shiny surface, and then on the top and on the back is gonna be more of a textured-matte finish, and so it's kind of like a two-tone finish that we have going on here, and also this is not a hard or rigid cover. It has a little give to it.
So in my opinion I think that's gonna be more impact-resistant. I don't think this is gonna be more likely to crack or fracture easily over the more harder covers or shrouds that we see, so I do appreciate the more sleek aerodynamic look, though. Now taking a closer look on this side of the table here, I just want to go over the other components here. This air distribution box is gonna give you directed or ducted airflow, so with the louvers open like that, you're gonna be able to get cool air straight down into the cabin, or you can just close them shut like that and that's gonna push that air through those existing ducts, and we do have these grills here on the side that's going to allow you to easily pop them open, so you're gonna be able to remove the washable filters and that's gonna help keep the air flowing smoothly, so you'll wash 'em out, let 'em dry, pop those filters back in, and you'll be good to go. I just wanted to give you some measurements here.
The overall width is about 19 inches wide. The overall length is about 20 inches long. And then I just want to kind of show you what this is gonna look like in your ceiling. This is gonna stick down maybe about 1 to 1-1/2 inches, so, again, it's a low-profile design. I don't think it's gonna take up a whole lot of head space at all in your RV or cabin, and it's gonna look pretty sleek in there as well. You are also going to get this control box, which is basically the brains of the operation, the hardware to get the air distribution box and air conditioner mounted into place, and then you're also going to get this digital thermostat. This is going to allow for easy temperature control. This simple digital thermostat is going to let you easily adjust those settings. It's got a clear backlit display, the screen's gonna be very easy to read no matter if it's day or night, and just to give you some measurements of this, about 4 inches tall, 2-1/2 inches wide, and about an inch thick. Now this system is not going to be backwards compatible with any other air conditioner system or component from 2024 and earlier. That's due to the new R32 refrigerant that this unit uses that meets the 2025 EPA regulations. So that's why it's nice to get a kit like this, 'cause everything is designed to work together, everything's gonna be compatible with that R32 refrigerant, but if you happen to have any other air conditioner components currently on your camper or RV from 2024 and earlier, it's probably not going to be compatible with this system, just so you're aware of that. One final thing I wanted to mention is sometimes it's not cold enough to run your furnace, but maybe you just need to take the chill out of the air. A heat strip is available for separate purchase to install into this unit if that's something that you're interested in. That heat strip is not a furnace replacement, it's just something to help take the chill out of the air when it's not necessarily cold enough to fire up your furnace and get a bunch of blankets out or whatever. So if you're interested in taking a look at that heat strip, I am including our item number there for you on the screen, and you can add that to your order if you so desire. If you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
E-trailer is the place to buy delivery purchasing everything all good the Coleman air conditioning rooftop no problems simple to install and works great
The units were in great shape as they were delivered. when I was putting in my order the screen said Sunday delivery, when I submitted the order it changed to Monday, when I tracked the order it said Tuesday. It was Tuesday that it was delivered. that is the only negative thing about my order. everything else is as ordered. I did not realize I ordered the units with the control knobs but that was my mistake. I really needed the ones with the thermostat controls. If there is a kit to switch it from the knobs to the thermostat I would love to know what it is.
