Features to know about

A Matched Kit That Simplifies the Install

One of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are compatible. This kit takes all that off your plate. The rooftop unit and air distribution box are made to work together, so installation is smoother and nothing catches you off guard. Whether you're doing the install yourself or paying someone else to do it, having everything designed as a set makes the job faster, cleaner, and less stressful.

Consistent, Ductless Cooling

If you've ever had an AC that ran all day and still left the rig feeling muggy, this one's a different story. It's made for RVs without ducted air, so it's perfect if you're replacing an old setup or adding a second unit to cool a separate space. And with 13,500 Btu of cooling power, you'll feel the temperature shift within minutes, not hours. Inside the unit, large coils and airflow-boosting fins help pull heat out efficiently, so your RV stays cooler with less strain on the system. You walk in, and the air feels dry, cool, and breathable—like a good night's sleep is actually possible again.

Easy, Accessible Control at the Ceiling

The air distribution box gives you full control right at ceiling level, with simple knobs you can reach without digging for remotes or climbing over furniture. You can direct airflow where you need it with adjustable dampers, and when the filters need cleaning, the pop-out grilles make it easy. No tools required. Just pull, rinse, and snap it back into place.

Add Heat for Chilly Mornings

Sometimes, it's not cold enough to run the furnace, but it's too chilly to be comfortable. This system is prepped for a 5,600 Btu heat strip (sold separately), which is a simple way to take the edge off on those in-between mornings. It's easy to install and helps your space warm up without the noise or power draw of a full furnace cycle.

Product arrived in 2 shipments. Upon arrival checked for damage. None noticed. Upon removal from box found small crack in cover at bottom not far from screw attachment. Most likely from shipping. This was cosmetic and would not effect function of unit. Installed unit wired and tested. Temperature reached 67 degrees in rv in about 4 hours. Much better than the 98 degrees prior to installation.

I’ve ordered many things from trailer and they have never let me down. Easy to order, fast shipping, right on time. Actually, it arrived a day early. Nice surprise.

  • Replacement for Coleman-Mach AC on Travel Trailer
Hey Kyle! You can replace your old Coleman-Mach AC with one of the new ones. However, you will need to replace the thermostat and air distribution box as well. All of the new AC units use R32 refrigerant following the 2025 EPA guidelines so any old R410A components aren't compatible. We have 13,500 Btu or we have the 15k units if you want to upgrade. You can choose from the following based on color and ducted/ductless: -Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 RV AC System - Ductless - 13,500 Btu...

  • Can Coleman Mach AC Replace Dometic AC on 2016 5th Wheel Trailer
Hey Jeff! The Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 can replace the old Dometic AC on your 5th wheel. Since these are new R32 units and that will be an old R410A AC complete replacement is required. You can choose from the following based on the color you want and if you have a ducted/ductless setup: -Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 RV AC System - Ductless - 13,500 Btu - Textured White # CM38RR -Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 RV AC System - Ductless - 13,500 Btu - Polished White # CM58RR -Coleman-Mach...

  • Parts Needed to Install Coleman Mach 3 AC Unit for Ductless Application
Hey Daniel, we actually have a kit that includes the Coleman unit you mentioned with the correct air distribution box for a ductless setup with the part # CM58RR which includes a thermostat as well. I am not sure who Daniel is but you can definitely send him this link and he can comment below if he has any questions! This could be installed on a 10 inch thick roof but you'd need longer bolts than what comes with this.

  • AC Unit For 2020 InTech Flyer Explore Teardrop Camper That Sees Lots Of Rough Roads
Good morning Chloey, for a small ductless camper that sees rough roads, I’d stay in the Roughneck line. The question is really whether you need the 13.5K Roughneck Mach 3 # CM68RR or the 15K Roughneck Mach 15 # CM88RR. Since your camper is on the smaller side and your old unit mostly kept up, the # CM68RR is probably the smarter pick. If you’ve been fighting heat and want more cooling headroom, I’d move up to # CM88RR. For comparison, the more standard-travel versions would be the Signature...

  • Heavy Duty AC Unit For Toy Hauler RV That Goes Off Roading On Trails
Hey Cole! For a ductless setup that sees rough roads, I’d look at the Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 3 # CM68RR first, or the Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 # CM88RR if you want the bigger 15,000 Btu option. The Roughneck versions are the ones that make more sense when the camper sees more vibration and harsher travel than a normal campground setup. If this were mostly highway miles and weekend camping, I’d point you more toward the Signature versions like # CM58RR or # CM93RR instead. Cole,...

  • Which Size AC Complete Setup Is Best For 2015 Jayco Jay Flight Travel Trailer Powered By Generator
Hey Steve! If you’re trying to stay practical for generator use, I’d start by comparing the Signature Mach 3 # CM58RR and the Signature Mach 15 # CM93RR. Both run on 115/120V AC power, and the listed cooling draw is pretty close - 12.8 amps for # CM58RR and 13.9 amps for # CM93RR. So if your old 13.5K unit cooled the trailer reasonably well most of the time, I’d stay with the Mach 3 # CM58RR. If it always felt behind once summer heat set in, I’d move up to the Mach 15 # CM93RR. If you...

  • Replacement AC Unit For 2017 R Pod 179 That Has Ductless System Where Air Blows Out Of AC Unit
Hey Rachel! Yes - that’s a ductless setup. If the air only blows from the ceiling assembly at the unit and there aren’t ceiling vents carrying air through the trailer, you’re looking at the right group. For a normal replacement, I’d start with the Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 # CM58RR. If you camp in hotter weather and want more cooling capacity, I’d step up to the Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 15 # CM93RR instead. Both are complete ductless systems, so you’re replacing the inside air box...

  • Replacing 10 Year Old AC Unit In Travel Trailer - Should I Replace Unit Or Whole System?
Good morning Mark, at around 10 years old, I’d recommend replacing the whole system. These newer AC kits use R32 refrigerant, and newer AC components are not backward compatible with a lot of the older setups. On top of that, parts for older refrigerant systems are getting harder to find. If your trailer has ceiling vents throughout, a complete ducted system like the Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 3 # CM95RR is a solid option. If it does not have ceiling ducts and the air only blows out of...

  • Does 2016 Casita Freedom Deluxe Need Ducted Or Ductless AC Unit?
Hey there Rihanna, yes - that’s a ductless setup. If the air only blows from the ceiling assembly and there are no ceiling vents carrying air through the trailer, you’re in the right group. Also I double checked by looking up your travel trailer, and since it's more of a mid-sized single axle camper, that is also a giveaway that it's usually just a standard ductless ac unit. The big class AC RVs and toy haulers more commonly have the ducted vents going through the interior. For a normal...

  • Which Size AC Complete Kit Is Best For 2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700 BH ?
Good morning Darnell, if you’re trying to stay practical with generator use, I’d usually start with one of the 13,500 Btu ductless systems first - either the Signature Mach 3 # CM58RR or the Roughneck Mach 3 # CM68RR. Those make the most sense if your current AC cooled reasonably well most of the time and you just need a fresh complete system. The Roughneck is just a better built unit that withstands the terrain and rough roads better, so that's up to you if you want to spend a bit more...

  • Can Multiple Coleman Mach AC Units Be Controlled By Wireless Thermostat In RV?
Hey Brian! Yes, the WiFi Thermostat # CM46MR will work with the new ducted Coleman-Mach units like # CM52RR, # CM65RR, # CM83RR, and # CM95RR. Since those are the ducted kits that already use a wall thermostat, that’s where this add-on thermostat makes the most sense. If you want, tell me what RV you have and how many AC units you’re planning to run. And just to be sure, the ducted units are for RVs that have AC vents in the ceiling that carry air through the coach. If your RV does not...

  • Is It Worth Adding Electric Heater Kit To Coleman Mach AC Unit In RV?
Hey Cheryl! Yes - if you want a little extra warmth for cool mornings, the optional heat strip # CM96RR is worth looking at with the ductless Coleman systems like # CM58RR, # CM68RR, # CM93RR, and # CM88RR. The big thing is just having the right expectation. It’s great for taking the chill off, but I would not treat it like a full furnace replacement. For a lot of spring and fall campers, though, that’s exactly the kind of extra heat they want. Cheryl, if you want, tell me what camper...
