Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this InfiniteRule ball mount lock. This is going to replace the standard pin for your Curt Rebellion XD adjustable ball mount. So, you can see here we've got one pin still left in place and then I've already switched out the other pin for our InfiniteRule lock, so this is gonna fit right in place of the original pin. You can see it sticks out just a little bit farther, but other than that it is gonna be, pretty much, the exact same but it is going to provide that extra security to make sure that no one can come along, pull our clip and pins out and take off with our trailer and anything that we have loaded on it. So, it is gonna be much more secure for us as we are towing with our trailer.

And this is made of a heavy duty stainless steel so it's gonna be very durable and strong. It's got a shear strength of 42,000 pounds. You can see our grooved pinhead is gonna be very easy to grab and work with. We do have our weather resistant tethered dust cap, here, that's gonna help keep water and debris out of our keyway so we don't have to worry about anything getting into the lock core there. Our lock core is going to be a turnstile, so rather than just a single, like, quarter turn, which can easily be picked, this is going to require us to continually turn the key so it's gonna be a lot more theft resistant.

Then it just comes off like that, allows us to slide it in, get it locked up, pull it out if we need to adjust the height of our head, so very easy to use. On the inside you can see we do have that O-ring, there, that's going to help protect our internal components from any dirt and grime from getting in, so very nice feature there. This pen is a 3/4-inch diameter so it is gonna be exactly the same as the original that you are replacing. Our inside pin length, or our span here, where we're going to have this connected to our ball mount, is right at 2-7/8 of an inch. Our overall length is about 5-1/2 inches.

So, when you compare that to our original pin you can see it is gonna stick out about an inch and a half farther, so make sure that that's not gonna cause any problems for you as far as clearance or anything like that. This is made here in the USA so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. I think it's gonna do a good job for you, hold up well so that you can make sure that your trailer and load are secure as you are using your Curt Rebellion XD adjustable ball mount. Now, we do have several other options that are very similar so if you want more than just the one pin lock we also have a two or a double lock. So, rather than just having one switched out you would have both of the standard pins switched out for locks.

So, that would give you a little bit more security rather than just having the one. We also have a kit that will provide both those pin locks and a hitch lock so that you don't have to worry about someone coming along taking your whole Rebellion XD off of your trailer hitch. So, all three of those are keyed alike with that kit so you just have one set of keys that will work all three of them, so very easy to keep track of and that sort of thing. So, if you are wanting a little bit more security we do have some of those other options available for you, but if you're just looking for the single lock this is gonna be a great option. It's gonna do a good job making sure everything is gonna be secured, not gonna have to worry about someone coming along and taking your trailer. That's gonna complete our look for today.
