This hitch is rated for 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight, so it’s built for light towing and everyday hauling. It’s perfect for pulling a small camper, boat, or utility trailer, and it handles bike racks or cargo carriers with ease. The sturdy square-tube design keeps everything stable and secure when you’re on the move.
The matte black carbide finish isn’t just about looks—it’s tough. The fourth layer of powder coating makes it more resistant to corrosion from road salt and weather while hiding dirt, scuffs, and scratches better than glossy paint. It keeps the hitch looking sharp even after years of use.
You can install this hitch right in your own driveway using common tools. It bolts directly to the existing frame attachment points, so there’s no cutting, drilling, or welding required. The included hardware kit makes it straightforward to line up and secure for a solid fit that’s ready to tow.
The 2" x 2" receiver opening gives you plenty of options for gear. Most bike racks, ball mounts, and cargo carriers are built to this standard size, so you can swap between accessories without fuss or adapters. It’s a dependable setup for hauling what you need—whether that’s extra luggage for a trip or bikes for the weekend trail ride.

A real pain to get installed but eventually got there
Not very difficult to install
Hitch looks good now that it is in place. Pretty tricky with the fishing of the bolts and tabs through the frame rails. One hole on each side of the mounting flange did not line up so I had to open it up with a dremel to make if fit. Looked like it should just bolt in place but things didn't quite work out that way. Took about 4 hours with 2 people working on it.
Great product , very prompt delivery. Overall very good shopping and buying experience
Fit and instructions were good
Shipping was fast, fit perfect
Haven't been able to install yet but shipping is very fast. Will be taking to uhaul to have installed
Hitch is fine and fit well on a 2020 Kona AWD base model. Plan for 3 hours, not 35 minutes. It is easiest if you remove both back wheels. Then the inner fender liner on each side should have the 3 screws and push pins removed to tilt it forward toward the front of the wheel well. Other than that follow the directions. The extra room you get from removing the wheels is well worth it. You must move the electrical cable as indicated, it will get crushed by the hitch otherwise once installed. I did not have to cut any plastic as the directions indicate so I do not know what that is about.
Very satisfied with the result. I am not a car guy, but I bumbled through okay. I must confess that this was my first experience using fishwire. I would like to think that I will be better with it next time, now that I’ve had some exposure!

Sorry the install did not go more smoothly for you Steve. Sometimes the hitches are flexed out a little, I am happy you were able to get it figured out.
