Towing different trailers often means different coupler heights, and this hitch makes dialing them in simple. The adjustable ball mount slides along the 2" shank in 1" increments, giving you up to a 6" drop or 7" rise. Once you find the right height, lock it in with the included dual pins for a level, stable tow every time.
If you’re swapping between trailers, the stainless steel double-sided hitch ball keeps things easy. One side is a 2" ball rated up to 8,000 lbs GTW, and the other is a 2-5/16" ball rated up to 12,500 lbs GTW. Just pull the pins, flip the platform, and go—no need to track down separate balls or tools when changing setups.
When you’re done towing, flip the platform underneath your vehicle to keep it out of sight and protect your shins. The stowable design keeps the hitch ready without taking up space or catching on anything behind your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to secure it for travel and you’re good to go.
This mount is made from tough 6061-T6 billet aluminum with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hitch balls, so it stays strong and looks good even after years of use. The solid block construction keeps weight down while maintaining strength, and every component meets SAE J684 and VESC V-5 standards for dependable performance on the road.
The hitch comes with locking dual pins that secure the platform to the shank and a keyed-alike receiver lock that keeps the mount in place. Four keys are included, so everything stays locked down whether you’re towing or leaving it on your vehicle between trips.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Weigh Safe 180 hitch with two ball mount for your two inch hitch receiver. Now this 180 hitch is going to slide into your two inch hitch receiver, and this is going to give you a two inch and a 2 5/16 inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball. And this is gonna be very easy to switch tow ball sizes. And this is also going to give you, when you have the shank in this orientation, a maximum six inch drop. And then when you flip this over, you'll get a maximum seven inch rise with an incremental adjustment of one inch.
And so this is going to give you the height adjustability that you need so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. Now when you are using this with the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. Then using the two inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds. And this has a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. This hitch is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability.
The solid block construction is going to give you greater strength than a lot of hollow steel options that are out there. But this is going to be lightweight, it's going to be obviously rust proof, and the clean finish is going to stand the test of time. So even though this is gonna be a lighter weight option, this is going to be very rugged, very durable, hold up really well for you. The balls, as I mentioned, are stainless steel, and so they're gonna resist corrosion. This is going to be a great hitch to use around the water like for a boat trailer for instance since it's gonna stand up to that rust and corrosion.
Now this does feature a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very simple. I'm gonna remove this rubber cover that's included. Obviously that cover does protect the lock core from dust, dirt, and debris and things like that. But this does come with keys here that are gonna be keyed alike, and you're gonna get four keys. So what I'm gonna do is take one of the keys here, I'm gonna insert into the lock, give that a turn, and then that's going to allow me to remove the dual pins here.
And while I have these out, I wanted to mention that the pins and the housing are aluminum and then the lock is plated steel. So again, very strong, but it is going to resist that rust and corrosion. And so with that removal, that's going to allow me to easily slide this up and down. And then if I want to change the ball size, then I'm just going to easily flip this over just like that. And then that's going to allow me to use the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball. And then another feature that's really nice is if I want to stow this, so if I'm not gonna be needing to use the balls, and I wanna stow it, I just flip it to the back here like this, and then I'll just line up the holes, and then that's going to allow me to safely walk behind my truck without worrying that I'm gonna bang up my shin on the ball mount that's sticking out. So that's a really great option that this has. Just be able to stow it away when it's not in use. Obviously this is gonna be a lot easier to adjust when you have this on your trailer hitch receiver. And so let me go ahead and line up my holes, and I'm gonna go ahead and replace my dual pins here, just like that. And something that I really appreciate about this is everything is very smooth. You're not gonna have to worry about being at the back of your vehicle struggling to make the adjustment. It's gonna be very quick to adjust the ball size, very quick to adjust the height. And then this also does include a locking pin, and it does come with that cap that's gonna protect the keyway there. So I'm just gonna use keys again, and that's going to allow me to unlock this and remove it. And something that I really like about this locking pin is you can lock this back up and then remove the key. And even without the key, you're going to be able to lock that just like that. So it's gonna be very easy to lock this back up. You're not gonna need the key in there to lock that back up. So I do like that about that hitch pin lock. So four keys are included, everything's keyed alike. You're basically just gonna need one key for everything. And just to give you some measurements so you have a good idea of the size, measuring from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 8 1/2 inches. Moving down to the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is V5 and J684 certified. And I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. Simple and easy to switch to another trailer with a different ball size and height. Only negative thing I can say is I would prefer a little tighter fit into the receiver.

Been looking for a while on a new hitch and finally pulled the trigger. Etrailer made it fast and easy to get the hitch I wanted at a fair price.
After 3 months one of the trailer chains bonds against the hitch while taking a shape turn and bent the key to flip the receiver ball. So we are basically stuck with a 2 5/16 receiver since it cannot be opened and flipped. Aluminum is nice but weak at the same time.
Fast shipping as always! While I haven't had the chance to use this hitch yet, it looks like a high-quality product straight out of the box. I plan to test it this weekend and will update this review if I remember after putting it to use.
Very solid and beautifully finished. Fits well on my 2016 Ram 2500 4x4, with the newer 2-1/2" receiver, allowing the exact height necessary to level my toy hauler. Ball mount is packaged in foam to ensure it is pristine when it arrives.
Got the locking dual pin for it, as well as the BOLT locks for hitch and coupler, so none of this pretty stuff walks away. Very happy with the whole setup.

Hitch works well. Seems it could be a bit tighter when in receiver on truck but overall is a good purchase.
Good product feels very sturdy. My only critique is that it has too much play causing a lot of rattling. The manufacturer should have a tightening bolt so that after installation the two components tighten up and there’s no play.

Great product. Craftsmanship is top notch.
Easy to use and very sturdy built. My only complaint is the standard coated Balls rusted pretty quickly and look bad. I Should have went with the upgraded stainless steel. Also the salt from 1 winter has left some corrosion on the aluminum of the hitch and the sticker fell off. None of these things affect the function, but i wish it would have stayed looking as nice as it did when it was new.
