If you like the idea of adding utility without changing your vehicle’s look, this hitch is built for that. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver has a concealed cross tube that installs behind the bumper, leaving only the 2" x 2" receiver visible. The result is a clean, from-the-factory appearance instead of a bulky bar hanging below the bumper. You can tow, haul, or mount gear without giving up that sleek finish you prefer.
This custom-fit hitch gives you the flexibility to take on light towing and accessory use with confidence. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 250 lbs. That’s plenty for small campers, utility trailers, or multi-bike racks. Whether you’re heading out with your bikes or pulling a small trailer for weekend projects, this hitch is ready for it.
You don’t need specialized tools or shop equipment to get this hitch in place. The EcoHitch uses an easy, bolt-on design that doesn’t require drilling or welding. It lines up with existing mounting points so you can get it installed in your driveway using basic hand tools. That makes it great for DIYers who want to handle setup themselves and get straight to towing or hauling gear.
The hitch is made from an aerospace-grade alloy that combines aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. This mix keeps it lightweight yet sturdy enough to handle regular use. The metal alloy is formed from recycled materials and finished in a black powder coat that resists rust and corrosion. It’s been tested using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) to meet SAE J684 towing safety standards, so you know it’s tough enough for real-world conditions.

Ratings & Reviews
The rack is very well designed, however the full width of the ovalized holes on the opposite sides of the rack were about 3mm short. I had to use a die grinder to allow the threaded bolts to line up and enter the threads on the mounting points.
