Perfectly as advertised.The video and instructions were very clear. Perfect fit. I had to remove old corroded hardware from a previous hitch installation. It required cutting three bolts with a rotary pnuematic tool. Once preped the job went smoothly and quickly. I found it easier to remove the bumper to fish out old the hardware.

Very Happy with the Hitch. As with most projects the prep took the most time. I used a grinder and a spare bolt to make a thred chaser ( see U tube).
When every hole was clean and lubed. I was able to lay on my garage floor and and install the hitch by myself in under 40 min. Thanks etrailer.
The Trailer Hitch Reciever, Ball mount Kit and Wiring Harness for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee were delivered sooner than expected. Everything was as described on the web site. Instructions were helpful. I had a typical problem for a Jeep. The four frame holes on the passenger (exhaust) side had factory installed nuts two were metric two were SAE. The exhaust hanger had to be removed and reinstalled. Installation time was longer than expected. The wiring harness installation was perfect.
Completely satisfied with my new hitch & intend on using it with my new bike rack. I received it within a few days. Installation was a cinch after watching the installation videos. In addition, the web site makes it so easy to choose the correct hitch for your particular needs & your specific vehicle. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!

I've owned 4 Jeep Cherokees in my lifetime and had to install hitches on all of them. This one from etrailer made the install go in half the time. They kitted up the install hardware and the bolt threading tool included with the kit meant I didn't have to remove the rear bumper to put in those cumbersome plate washers the other guys use.

Still working great after a year with no problems. Great Product.
Perfect fit for my old Jeep from ‘86
40 minutes installation? Bull! Maybe on a new vehicle but not a 20 year old Jeep.
Invest in a tap to clean out welded nuts on passenger side and a breaker bar with a 3' pipe extension to remove the one bolt holding the muffler bracket. Also, on drivers side it is necessary to shorten one carriage bolt about 3/8" to be able to fish it through the last hole; still enough threads to torque to 75'#'s.
Delivery was prompt but had one washer fall out of box because the parts bag had a hole in it. Remove the staples from the box and unfold and you get a nice surface to lay on for the install.
