good fit on my 97 blazer

Bolts were to large to use in mounting, had to use replacment bolts.
Other than that it was a easy assembly.
Decided to order based on reviews. Glad I did, the price beat out another by $100 and it was at my door in three days! Would recommend this site to anyone. Good business and follow up with delivery updates.
Good hitch, great fast shipping and nice price!
Instructions not so good...had to enlarge two bolt holes on my vehicle in order for holes to line-up and get bolts thru.

the hitch came to my front door within 2 days of ordering it. the hitch looks great on my blazer. the bolt holes are a little tricky to match up but once you do everything goes together fast. i will do business again very pleased
I bought this hitch because I needed it so I can tow my 5x8 trailer.. I got it pretty quick, and had it installed on my blazer in about 35 minutes... i didn't have to make it fit, it went right in... I would recommend this hitch to anyone !!!
I purchased this Curt Trailer Hitch for my 1999 Blazer. The e-trailer website is user friendly and I was able to easily find exactly what I wanted. I received the shipment quicker than expected. Ordered the Hitch for my 2000 Jimmy and recieved it in 3 work days. Took me 40 minutes to install by myself, it would have less time if I had another set of hands Only problem I had was the powder coat on the hitch reduced the size of the holes but a quick easy drilling and I was ready to go. I'm very pleased with my purchase seems like a quality product at a very fair price.
Took a little longer than expected with the rusted bolts on my blazer. Other than that it went on rather easy. Excited to use my new hitch!!! I plan on pulling a small utility trailer and Jon boat with it. What I like already with this hitch is that during the install the hitches steel brackets are thicker than my blazer frame. I feel more than comfortable with this hitch on my vehicle. Second time ordering from Etrailer and will order again in the near future!!!
Due to the flanges being too far apart for use on the 2nd gen Blazers, you must install 1/8" shims at each end to take up the gaps. see photos

Solid product and easy to install! The instructional videos and customer service are top notch! I have purchased 2 hitches and a cargo carrier and will always return to E-trailer for trailer accessories.
No complaints here! Has done an amazing job with towing when needed. The installation was fairly simple and it's probably the strongest part on the 19 year old truck! Haha

Great product. Took 20mins on my own to install on my 2003 Chevy Blazer. I would just mention that it is a good idea to run a 1/2" drill through the existing chassis rail holes before you install the hitch...other than that its an easy install. Looks great on the vehicle. Delivery was fast. Highly recommend using e-trailer and their products.
Hitch was delivered on time. As stated, it bolts directly to existing holes. It's takes a little longer to mount than 30 minutes, but the main reason is because the existing bolts are usually coated with semi- permanent loc-tite. I would recommend using a longer handled 1/2 socket wrench to reduce time, (and a pair of impact mechanic's gloves to protect hands.) I couldn't be MORE satisfied with the price, quality and reasonable ease of installation of this hitch! Many times reviews of products are very generic and almost obligatory. I am truly satisfied and would give etrailer a 10 out of 10! I will order from you again. Thanks for the free shipping and for providing an easy ordering process!
I had great communication with the company as they emailed me when the payment was received, when the order was processed and when it shipped. The shipping was fast and I was given a tracking number as well. I am not very mechanically inclined but found this to be super easy. Took about 45 minutes because the alignment and bolts can be a little tricky but that was the only snag. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
This receiver hitch is perfect for a 2000 GMC Jimmy! It was easy and quick to instal, only needed to remove 4 nuts and then install quickly by myself in the driveway. Instructions suggest that you need to enlarge 4 of the holes you will use, but the bolts slipped in without any modifications required. It wraps around the spare tire leaving plenty of room to access the spare easily. 35 minutes start to finish this install. Looks great as well!
Could'nt install myself. Otherwise its a great buy although the safety chains are hard to put on the hitch with the receiver lock I use.
