This hitch is built for real-world use with a 2" x 2" receiver opening that’s ready for towing gear, cargo baskets, or bike racks. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs. When used with weight distribution, those limits increase to 6,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs TW. That kind of strength gives you the flexibility to haul a small camper, boat, or utility trailer with confidence.
The fully welded design bolts directly to the frame without any welding required. The mounting holes are designed to line up with existing points on the vehicle, so installation stays simple for anyone working in a driveway or home garage. The complete hardware kit and step-by-step instructions come in the box, so you can get it mounted using basic tools—no special equipment needed.
The square-tube construction and precision, robotic welding give this hitch extra strength and durability for long-term use. A gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base coat adds superior rust resistance and keeps the hitch looking clean even after years of exposure to road grime and weather.
Once installed, the 2" receiver opening works with standard towing and cargo accessories like ball mounts, pins, and clips (sold separately). Whether you’re setting up your trailer or adding a storage platform for a road trip, this hitch gives you the versatility to get more out of your vehicle every day.

Very good dervice. Sent me what I needed. On time and exactly as described . Would recommend and will definitely do business again when needed. Thanks
Received product as expected. In great condition and was easy to install.
hitch looks good.... I am satifyed. have not installed it yet
I have used this on my Mercury Mountaineer and it is a good product and came very fast. No issues at all. If you order from this company do not worry. For all my pulling needs they always impress.
The hitch itself is well constructed but does not fit the Explorer without modification to make it wider to fit over the framerails. I had to take it to my mechanic to be altered to fit.
It does exactly what I needed to do. Thanks again for your quick service. That was impressive.
This hitch did not fit as delivered. The spacing between the vertical mounting ears was too narrow to embrace the vehicle's frame rails by 5/8 inch!
As the original owner of my 1996 Ford Explorer, I attest to its integrity and history of no damage and no abuse. I am a professional mechanic and was comfortable with, and capable of, spreading the attaching flange, "ears" gap a bit wider to fit the car's frame rails. It was much more of a chore to install than expected. All is OK now.
It was disturbing to view the fine print at the top of the instruction page, 757230, which states, " Will not fit with full size spare tire". That contradicts your web page's guidelines and applications charts.. This hitch, in fact, does accommodate the full size spare on my vehicle.
The quality of constriction is good and the powdercoat finish is good The packaging was good. The hardware kit and diagrams are good.
The free freight is remarkable and the two-days delivery time was astonishing!
I thank you for being there when I need your team

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment. This can happen to the hitch while in transit to us or to you. We do have an article that can provide a solution to allow the hitch to be installed.
